I’m beginning to suspect that wasting years dragging feet on military aid to Ukraine and playing escalation management games, giving an aggressive militaristic Russia the time and resources to ramp up its war machine to full power against the free world, might not have been the brightest idea.

When Trump says “the United States” he means “me and that nice lady Natalie who changes my diaper.”

The US under Trump is like a giant cruise liner with a mad captain steering towards the icebergs as half the passengers cheer him on as the crew sell the lifeboats and drill holes in the hull. It's sheer size and the momentum built up over decades will keep it afloat & moving forward. For a while.

Most probably, all of this could have been avoided if Ukraine had received full military, economic and political support from the free world immediately after the start of the full-scale invasion, which could have enabled it to defeat fascist Russia quickly.

OTD in 2008 Poland’s President Lech Kaczyński was in Georgia, which Russia had just invaded, and said “today Georgia, tomorrow Ukraine”. He was told he was “stuck in a Cold War mentality” and ignored.

Ukraine needs Poland, and Poland needs Ukraine. Both countries are much stronger together. We have a joint enemy — it is russia.

The EU and NATO nations would rather watch all of Ukraine reduced to rubble, and most Ukrainians killed in their beds than fulfill their legal duty and stop Russian genocide. They won't even intercept UNMANNED Russian missiles and drones with ZERO chance of direct conflict with Russia.

Fascinating, Zelensky coming out publicly more and more and saying that Trump is working with/for Putin. The Ukrainians seem to have determined that telling the truth is preferable to lying to please Trump.

Aid to Ukraine from 2022-2026 was a rounding error. We used more in the first two weeks of the Iran war than we provided in the 4 years of aid to Ukraine.

All this was a choice. I can’t get over how all of this was a choice. A plurality of American voters saw corruption, bigotry, pandemic, economic crisis, coup attempt, and criminal conviction, then opted for more.

After killing EU's long-term predictable funding for Ukraine and delaying weapons promised long ago (F-16s), Belgian De Wever now wants the EU to negotiate with russia over Ukraine. These people are badly unfit for challenges that are looming over Europe.

I keep seeing people ask about the 25th Amendment. Guys. His entire Cabinet is walking around in shoes that don’t fit because they’re scared to take them off. The 25th is never happening.

The willingness of major European states such as Britain and France to send their military forces to actively defend counties in the Middle East but not to defend Ukraine shows how Europe has a distorted sense of its own interests.
