Rotten day in work. But at least I've made a pie for dinner. A leek and cheese pie, from scratch, including the pastry. Sometimes, messing around in the kitchen is like therapy.

A long weekend! One whole extra hour! I know they add the hour in the early hours of Sunday morning; but I like the idea of setting aside one hour to do something *intentional* (Ideally making art, or reading a book, or maybe writing?)

It’s depressing to see schools use AI to create flyers, banners, & t-shirts. When I was in high school the faculty would come to the art department to have students create these things. I learned so many skills that have followed me my entire professional life. That’s what I thought school was for.
