This reminds me to remind you that Coyote v. Acme is SO FUCKING GOOD and you should absolutely watch it if you haven't seen it yet

Unbelievable loss. An amazing talent, and just a really, really good person. www.instagram.com/p/De8RFy4pyov/

China’s first AI-generated theatrical feature has flopped, earning just $181,000 in its first weekend. By contrast, the scrappy ‘Niu Lai’ turned its crude animation into a viral attraction, grossing nearly $10 million a couple of months ago. www.cartoonbrew.com/box-office-r...

This is a great quote from Gunn, but in what world does Star Wars lack tonal variety?

One thing I'll always cherish about Eric Bauza is his fight to get Coyote Vs. Acme out after it was shelved by WB. He was the film's biggest champion and supported it all the way and I'm glad he was at least able to see it released and become a critical and commercial hit.

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

NEW: "Donald Trump was an active participant in Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse of young women during the mid-to-late 1990s," per new House Judiciary Dem report. Report has new allegation that Trump raped a 24-year-old and then promised the victim a visa & NYU admission, demanding she stay quiet.

From Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Bros. Pictures Animation: “Eric Bauza was a unique voice talent who brought joy and laughter to millions around the world. During his 15 years at Warner Bros. Animation, he was the voice of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck among countless other characters.

Losing Eric Bauza so young is an unbelievable tragedy. Up there with Mel Blanc, Joe Alaskey and Jeff Bergman as one of the best Looney Tunes voice actors, able to perfectly embody each character. And he never gave up the fight for "Coyote vs Acme." RIP.

And we now lose Walter Koenig? This really sucks. He had a great career in sci-fi after Star Trek, but as a Trekkie, I will always remember him as the lovable Chekov.

My pal Danielle Koenig shared that her father Walter Koenig passed away last night at age 90. A performer whose kindness and warmth shone through the screen. He will be well remembered.

Waking up to the news of Eric Bauza's tragic passing is an emotional gut punch. He was a kind, funny, and talented person. A true champion of animation and the arts. If you watched an animated show this past decade, you probably heard his voice. RIP, king. Gone way too soon.

Eric Bauza wasn't just an incredible actor. He fought for all of us, for the preservation of art, to see that real art got to shine, even in the face of corporate greed. The importance of him using his platform and his voice for the betterment of art cannot be understated. Goodnight, sir.

Eric truly was one of a kind. He was the first professional VA I met starting in art college and among the first industry friends i made at the same time. I made this for him for a convention in Burbank today. I never expected it to become a tribute piece. Rest Easy, Eric.

What makes this hurt even harder is the fact that he knew it was that strong. He was the first, and arguably the most vigilant in keeping this movie alive. He truly cared and loved the work he was a part of. The animation industry has lost not only a good client, but a true supporter of the arts.

Eric Bauza’s final film performance, as of right now, is Coyote VS ACME. Roadrunner’s testimony is one of his final character performances in the film. He says “Beep” around 46 times, that’s all he says. Yet it says everything about his strengths and passion as a voice actor, with just one word.

Anti-trans Democrats are spreading poison when we can least afford it, during elections in this ongoing fascist takeover. As a strategy, it’s a recipe for failure. As a moral stand, it’s reprehensible. PS I’m the father of young trans woman and I’ll never forgive anyone who makes her life harder.
