Hint from a dude who grew up in Texas but dropped this place in the mid-2000s, once I learned where their funds go:
The main reason why the breading tastes "special" is because it's fried in peanut oil. You can find that elsewhere—or even do it at home, if you've got supplies!
I ended up replaying Other M. Holy shit what a bad game.
It's like a junkfood action game begging for more buttons and depth that's trapped behind a story that is somehow more misogynistic than you remember.
It's fuckin' dogshit I had a lot of fun laughing at it.
REMINDER: The animated 24-minute THE DEVIL AND DANIEL MOUSE by Nelvana was released as a Halloween special, so it's a good reason to watch this delightful animation tour de force.

It seriously doesn't feel real that we're finally releasing the Far-Fetched pilot next month. So proud of our entire team for making this possible, and can't wait for you all to go on this adventure with Sesamoid!
Low key I always assumed it was some white collar culture/preference that made it this way but
Usually if one production house/studio has a specific team they like, they just keep getting those same guys
I was Samsung's principle high rigger for CES for years but Samsung never *employed* me
A lot of this shit has been true of Hollywood labor for decades
I have a friend who rigged on the raimi spiderman movies who still gets checks from Sony
This situation isn't uniquely difficult to protect
Theres just currently less protections
Food for thought from an entertainment rigger
One of the many reasons a lot of industries pivot toward contractor/gig work is because there are less worker protections
One thing I'd like to remind everyone, to that
I'm a gig worker protected by a union
I get benefits and worker protections.
We figured this one out already
I THINK one of the things we're really seeing is a continent, maybe industry-wide shift away from full-time employees and towards gig/codev work.
And that transition looks like layoffs across the board even from studios that just had big successes.

NEW: Remedy's latest game, Control Resonant, is filled with art galleries. The galleries are filled with real art
When I began talking to Remedy about it, I was delighted to discover who the artists are: many are the game developers' parents

A perfect example of "We'll just get Bauza to do it!"
I was an animator on this episode and Lord Stingray was originally voiced by Jackson Publick, but the network thought it was too close to The Monarch.
Bauza came in and saved the day.
