A major problem with political journalism is the perceived obligation to treat Republicans and Democrats equally, to be "nonpartisan." The NY Times editor in this video thinks this way. But as I explain, Dems vs. GOP is a simplistic focus. It should be decency vs. indecency, democracy vs. fascism.

Maga wants blood. Our blood, apparently the Words,’Release the EPSTEIN FILES, is so offensive, it triggers rage & violence for the maga cult Pedophiles. Are the pedophiles so blind with rage that when others demand justice they lose all control? It is a crime to RAPE, ABUSE Children still, isn’t it?

soon they’ll wheel Trump out to the beach waterline and he’ll command the tides to stop rising and falling.
President Trump mused that he could rebrand either the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean, following his efforts to change the names of the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Ontario. “We call it ‘Trump Ocean’ or, or, ‘Ocean of the Americas,’ something like that,” Trump said.

this is an…unbelievable paragraph. yeah, what could be the difference between the court overturning a duly-passed and signed law and the court overturning an executive memo that violates the law?
The paragraph before seems equally detached from events—this would-be stumper of a question about the Court overturning executive orders is a lot less of a stumper when the executive orders keep violating laws passed by Congress!

Misinformation and institutional distrust fuel each other in a vicious cycle: not trusting mainstream sources pushes people toward unreliable ones, makes them more likely to believe false claims, and makes them less likely to accept corrections. www.taylorfrancis.com/chapters/oa-...

According to reporting from Bloomberg, more than 30 corporations have been targeted by lawmakers this year over surveillance pricing. This has led to a big lobbying blitz from corporations like Kroger, Uber, and Walmart. Here's what you need to know about the shady pricing practice.

Joe Rogan knows everything there is about every conspiracy theory out there, but when it comes to all of Trump's real-life government scheming and corruption, he seems behind the curve.
The sad part is that only a tiny fraction of Americans even know a small percentage of the corrupt things Trump has been doing.

Trump’s DOJ wants your personal voter data for one reason: to remove people from voter rolls who might vote against Republicans. “All of this is about weaponizing this data in order to make it harder for people like you to vote,” Marc Elias says. https://demdock.com/3T3Owjg

Reflecting Pool lessons: 1. Trump administration lying is routine and pervasive. Nothing they say or do should have a "presumption of regularity." 2. They spend our money to prosecute innocent people. Congress should cut and restrict funds and hold liars accountable. www.nytimes.com/2026/07/31/u...

I've been as critical of the Post as anyone, but this is a reminder that they still have some terrific reporters and their analysis of the Reflecting Pool damage made Pirro's prosecution seem (even more) unsustainable.
Increasingly looking lie the vandals who damaged the Reflecting Pool...were Trump's hand-picked contractors who got a no-bid contract www.washingtonpost.com/investigatio...
