Five corporations control 90% of the US media market. Airlines merged from 12 major carriers in 1980 to 4 today. Four giants control 80% of meat processing. The evidence of corporate consolidation is everywhere. It means more power for them and less freedom for you.

Netflix's $83 billion takeover of Warner Bros Discovery would mean more corporate consolidation. Netflix, by far the #1 streamer, would take over HBO Max, the #3 streaming service. This giant merger could violate antitrust law and hurt consumers.

My periodic reminder that multi-billionaires will eventually shift from measuring their dicks by building private space companies to building private armies with infantry, attack drone units, intelligence, engineers, signal, transportation, etc. Like Blackwater, but bigger. With a domestic focus.

The US is stupid for having Supreme Court judges for life. When judges are identified as liberal or conservative they no longer have the impartiality needed to dictate the law or justice. The supreme court should be filled similar to jury duty drawing from a rotating national fed & state judge pool.

Corporate profits have hit record highs. CEOs are paid 290x as much as a typical worker. We're subsidizing huge corporations that pay lousy wages through food stamps and Medicaid. But instead of cracking down on corporate greed, Republicans want to punish the working poor.

Sanders: Our life expectancy is about four years less than in other wealthy countries. If you’re working class in America, you live 7-8 years shorter than people who are wealthy. Now, why is that? The answer is not just healthcare. But it is the day-to-day stress that working people live under.

Remember back in 2020, when we’d all just witnessed George Floyd’s murder? And how white people and corporate America made grand pronouncements, promising to address anti-Black racism? And how Black Americans refused to get our hopes up b/c we know how y’all operate? Welp.

The usual suspects are out there yelling "There are 23 million government workers! Fire most of them!" No awareness that most work for local governments, and most of *them* are schoolteachers. Federal employment hasn't grown since the 1950s
