Scientists who study climate don't automatically attribute all changes to human activity. Rather, we carefully investigate every possible natural factor that could explain the planet's warming. Could these be the real culprits? The evidence is in--and the answer is NO. This thread explains! 🧵

Alexandra Fasulo runs one of the most prolific anti-solar campaigns online, regularly telling over 2 million followers renewable energy is threatening farms and wildlife. But how much of her rhetoric is actually true? @alexhannaford.com spent months parsing through the nuance for HEATED:

This whole wildfire "debate" is a manufactured product of fossil fuel-funded climate delay. It exists only to trap us in an endless cycle of argument so we never have enough public consensus to pursue solutions which would inevitably require reining in the most profitable industry in the world.

heated.worldThe fossil fuel money behind the GOP’s wildfire blame gameAs smoke from Canadian wildfires chokes the United States, Republicans are blaming everyone but the industry heating the planet. Guess why?

This would be a disaster

I've got to say that I'm really disappointed in the recent discourse surrounding the RCP8.5 scenario. The lack of context and understanding is something I expected from the usual suspects, but it's frustrating to see such bad takes from people and outlets who should know better.

There is no equivalent on the Democratic side for the pure, undiluted nihilism coming from the federal government right now. We basically have one party of technocrats and one party of Branch Davidians.

Added to the current Iran war and oil market shocks, glad we elected a President who doubled down on climate denial while ceding our clean energy market to China. Great job everyone.

This is a very annoying article which really should not be published in 2026. It is a settled matter that Trump is a fascist. But the distinction that you can only be a fascist, or a mob boss, and that these are distinct models of authoritarianism, is worth discussing.
