I have one request for everyone outside the United States. Stop being polite to us Americans. Tell us what you really think.
"The most corrupt president The United States have ever seen." UK Member of Parliament Ed Davey does not mince words when characterizing Trump after his move to take Greenland.

Starting a new religion that says reading SCOTUS opinions by Alito or Thomas is a sin and my kids should be able to opt out, for their own protection and religious freedom.
It's not a new observation, but it's wild that in Alito's mind, gay people are an abstraction who can safely be kept Out There, when lots of kids (mine included) have gay, married parents who pick them up at school together, show up at birthday parties, etc.

I think it’s even worse than that. If they somehow succeeded at completely forcing trans folks out of public life, they’d move on to some other group. Because ultimately they don’t really care about trans people that much either. They just care about having an Other to demonize.

In 25 years of covering national security, I’ve never seen a story like this: Senior Trump officials discussed planning for the U.S. attack on Yemen in a Signal group--and inadvertently added the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic. www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...

Conservatives called it a Flight 93 election, but instead of terrorists, the pilot was just a little annoying and so they stormed the cockpit and started mashing random buttons trying to find the woke one. It'd be comical if we weren't all on the plane too.
The university thing too. There are policy levers you could pull to make academia more conservative. Instead they do dipshit Maoism looking for the “woke” switch and turn off NIH funding and manage to somehow get STEM on the same side as admin staff, a group of people many of them normally despise.
