Look, I know all the reasons we got here, but we really need to start seriously thinking about what we do in a world where The Markets punish whole countries for voting for decency, compassion, and fairness. We must stop pretending the capitalist machine is an objective, value neutral force.

a "divorcee"? oh you mean a rōnin husband

trying to make things kinda generic so I can combine different systems. here the "pully" event can listen to what "percent" something is and move other objects based on that. and then I have an "attachment" event to tie objects so they move together.

these types of people have always found a way to outsource the unpaid, invisible labor of parenting. they run this country. they believe if it don’t make no money it ain’t worth doing. meanwhile, responsible caregivers struggle to survive.

Lara Croft was revolutionary as a woman in a male-dominated field (agonizingly perishing in spike pits) and opened up the way for many others (women used to trigger arrow traps in Spelunky)

Board game night ran really late again, but it's always so nice to have folks over. I forgot how much I miss hosting events! As a bit of a homebody, it's a nice way to socialize without having to go out and spend money.

Made some 3 color pixel paint-overs of the chibi Ranger Role card art for Earthborne Rangers, and tried them out as tokens in a virtual tabletop. Pretty happy with how these came out! Hoping to organize a campaign with some friends this winter, and ideally this'll help sell them on the game. :3

In all my worry about feeling sick after getting vaccinated today, I forgot that my guts can't handle dairy milk anymore. Way to make a bad situation worse, me. Ooogh...

I really like the Earthborne Rangers meeple tokens, but they didn't get made for all the roles. I took some time to scan and isolate the art from the chibi role cards (they're very cute), to turn them into SVG patterns. Want to try laser cutting and dyeing a full set, for our Arcology campaign!

I'm enjoying the Diamond is Unbreakable season of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, but this intro in particular is so delightful. Every time it comes on, and Josuke does his little catwalk trot and poses, it makes me very happy. youtu.be/8s0fCkNU0zM?...
