It would be hilarious/sad/still hilarious if KLB becomes governor without running an active governor campaign. The only ads I've seen are from 3rd party groups. I can't think of a single news story I've read about her or an issue she's pushing. Ce n'est pas un campaign

I still peg the likely split around 8. But this falls into the “apocalyptic” category for Georgia Rs. And suggests there might be quite a bit more collateral damage downballot.

the thing about wave elections is that they hit unevenly and can produce crazy outcomes

This is so many people. Hard to comprehend

For two years, student-led protests have raged against Aleksandar Vučić and his corrupt government in Serbia. Today, in parliamentary elections, he was toppled. One of the most sustained protest movements in recent European history has succeeded. Resistance works.

This is a terrifying thread about how much evil a single collaborator can do. He's not a mustache-twirling cackling villain, he's somebody who looks and acts perfectly ordinary otherwise. This is a real-life example of what Hannah Arendt wrote about in her "Banality of Evil."

Early this year, I visited Ingram, a TX town of ~1,900, to check out a tip. The area was starting to recover from its worst flood in a century. But as Latino workers drove to jobsites to help rebuild, the tipster said, a cop in a black Dodge Charger kept stopping them ... 🧵

I didn't love the quality of Atlanta 3's. Nor who was taking them. Don't expect Okongwu and Landale to go 0-9 but I'd like to see something else in the game plan when they aren't falling

What's most interesting to me is whether this will be like CA after Prop 187 where these idiots lose TX for a generation

Both his sons, overnight, became instantly polarized against not just Trump, but the party. They are pissed. Both kids' girlfriends are (and have been) liberal/Dems. Making that switch for these guys was effortless. They're not impotent 55 year olds steeped in decades of Fox News 7/

I was in Brownsville TX for work about a year ago. Talking to a Hispanic leasing agent about the stalled construction next door. ICE had raided the site. I asked what people thought about it. "I thought they were supposed to be getting criminals, not this" she said.

Because I grew up in an intown "inner city" bungalow neighborhood, I have never been to a cheesecake factory. I always think people are talking about the Old Spaghetti Factory on Ponce.

Post script: I forgot the funniest part. Raul, mind you, is a pretty conservative guy. He's no radical. He was so taken back by their sudden switch he changed the group WhatsApp DM he has with the two sons to "zapatista liberation chat"

What Trump and his ilk understand is the laws on the books only matter if someone will enforce them. The longer the shot, the fewer their allies willing to defy the law. If Dems pull 53 seats, it’s much harder to convince GOP judges to defy law for the team. 50-49, maybe different story.

What's the Beck call that broke you? For me personally, there's way too many to list out. The goal line calls against Indiana were some of the most egregious I've ever seen in 30+ years of closely following Michigan football. Drop yours below 👇

This whole thread is damning

Bill Radjewski@collegefootballdata.com

This coaching staff is running out of excuses: • Tough schedule? It’s #24 in FBS. Michigan’s adjusted offense still #86 in FBS • Freshman QB? Underwood was better as a true freshman • Lost Haynes? Marshall himself regressed • Proven OC? His QB is just as good without him

Michigan's defense has held all 7 opponents to 20 points or fewer. Since 2014, FBS teams that do that win 87% of the time. Michigan is 4-3. Jason Beck has to go. Now. Here's the data. 🧵

😂😂😂😂😂

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

WELKER: Is a vote for you a vote for the Trump agenda? MIKE ROGERS: Um, I'm apologizing. I'm having some difficultly in my earpiece. But is a vote for you? I'm not sure. I'll tell you what a vote for me is. It's a great day for the state of Michigan

This is a 2nd & 6. If there's anything that can be said to be Beck's base shit it's Jet Bash opposite QB Power. They know when he's running it. They know how to murder it. And here in Game 7 he still has no counter to punish the Oklahoma response.

So there's no QB problem at Michigan. Anything but, actually. Bryce Underwood and Tommy Carr are both talented enough to win with. The maturity Underwood's shown after sitting down is some of the best I've ever seen from a QB his age. They need to be coached better. Whole offense does.

Michigan lost 14 yards on third and inches from the goal line. That should be on a Post-It note on the box containing Jason Beck’s personal belongings outside his office at Schembechler Hall.

Bob Chesney can get UCLA to run a jet sweep and also they run both counter and inside zone and in fact even more runs than that.

Michigan had a long interception return stopped a few yards from the end zone and it was so clear they needed it to be a pick 6 because there was no way the offense was getting a TD
