Every clip I see about Bauza is so heartbreaking, he seems like such an amazing dude. Also, we gotta bring back using voice actors for animated shows and not just celebrities looking for an easy buck.

This post is unavailable.

Can confirm, high fives have been handed out at an all time high during these recent games.

I’m just so happy for the city of Milwaukee right now. This town has to put up with so much, and a lot of it is unfair, and it just makes these moments where people come together and celebrate this place that much more special. Because this is just such a great city. I love it.

I don't know who Mike Barnicle is, and I'm going to keep it that way. Also, Mike Barnacle lol

Mike Barnicle just said on MSNBC that the Brewers and Rays made the World Series because they don’t use analytics.

I try not to ask people to subscribe too much because I know how life and budgets and discretionary income can be. But this feels like a good time to ask you to consider subscribing to support local news. We covered 162, plus 8. We’ll cover the next 4-to-7, too. JSOnline.com/subcribe.

I'm still trying to process last night BECAUSE THE BREWERS ARE GOING TO THE WORLD SERIES. But the wild thing to me is how they did it. They got to all 4 starters for the Dodgers! They hung 2 runs on Skubal for the win, chased Yamamoto in the 3rd inning, then put up 4 runs on both Snell and Glasnow.

You give me 1000 guesses on how the NLCS would go, and never would I have landed on "The Brewers sweep the Dodgers by beating their insanely good starting pitchers." Unreal stuff.

Final: Brewers 6, Dodgers 2 Jackson Chourio came out firing. Robert Gasser shoved. DL Hall was clutch. The offense stayed pesky late. But these two swings will live on for a long time. Milwaukee has a chance to sweep in LA tomorrow.

This is a very freeing realization, whether it's music or comics or a TV show. Not everything will hit everybody, and that's ok. Lots of stuff out there to try and enjoy.

No matter how many attempts I make, I've come to the conclusion <redacted>'s comic work just isn't for me. Sometimes you have to decide to stop trying. And that's okay.

boy Trump fucked the American auto industry. first he yanks their EV subsidies, leading them to slash production and write off tens of billions in investment, then he jacks up the price of oil by 50%, leading to skyrocketing EV demand going almost entirely to China bc GM et al left the market

This is the guy who Substack's founders fell in love with, did podcasts with, and otherwise promoted. I knew those guys some after launching my newsletter, and we chatted sometimes, so I asked them why in the hell they'd do that. They said, basically, all opinions matter. That's when I bailed.
