Suck ass, The Economist

So, after extensive and exhaustive research over the last 20 minutes I can say categorically that Tomas is an experienced scout who has been a big part of helping develop a system at Benfica that is trying to identify better which talents and traits transfer well between specific leagues #nufc

So it appears the new guy DID have a hand in finding Enzo in Argentina He's not a specialist S.America scout though because Benfica rotated regions for their scouts each season He says he knows the Spanish and Portuguese markets best just due to familiarity and working in Spain #nufc

Reading various things seems he's too good for just a scout but too green to be a DoF so it may be HoR is the ideal role for him Need to check who Benfica brought in during his 4 years if I can work out who he looked at.. #nufc

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Tomás Amaral as the club's new Head of First Team Recruitment. 🙌

New Head of Recruitment: Will have to check his time as Benfica scout - which role and region, and who was brought in Working in Moscow suggests he may have the 'connections' needed in the modern game 🤮🤢 #nufc

I thought Gonzalez was very good against villa too for what it's worth. #nufc

Nice two seconds of Nico claiming the ball and pushing Wharton on his arse before starting the move for #NUFC I haven't watched the game yet (might only bother with the 2nd half by the sound of it?) but seen some folks saying Gonzalez looked better

🧵In Mathias Jaissle’s pre match press conference, @CharIieBennett asked a great chain of questions with one in particular referring to Newcastle’s vulnerability to transitions. Jaissle response was Newcastle need to be stronger in the counter press and “lock opponents in” #NUFC

Outstanding performance from our Under-21s 😍 A 3-2 comeback win in the Tyne-Wear derby thanks to goals from Kyran Thompson, Seung-soo and Vakhtang Salia in front of over 5,000 Geordies at St. James' Park. 🙌

Full-time: #NUFC U21s 3-2 #SAFC U21s Huge final half-hour from #NUFC, who twice fell behind (Felix Scott with #SAFC's 2nd) & yet found a way to win. Subs made a big difference. Kyran Thompson, Park Seung-soo (with an absolute belter) & Vakhtang Salia the scorers as #NUFC claim bragging rights.

Tino not hit by any problem. Headline appears to refer to Dedic form. Story only mentions Tino in passing. No transfer hint. #NUFC

A couple of surprises here mind from .com Amazed at how few some of these scored William Osula got off the mark for the season with his ninth PL strike for United, going level with Tino Asprilla, Jermaine Jenas, Peter Lovenkrands and Charles N'Zogbia. ##NUFC

Sometimes u21s are dark badly lit affairs and tricky to watch, but this is nice and bright at St James, Wilson and Jaissle are in the crowd and its a decent watch. Go on.. #nufc

After 18 minutes I am pretty sure that Afner Ca is a future Ballon D'or winner.
