CSS-Tricks has a new owner! Yes, I've got the keys to the castle, so to speak. And, even after 12 years of working on the site, I'll admit I'm a little overwhelmed and nervous about that. https://css-tricks.com/css-tricks-has-a-new-owner/

I gave a talk at EMF titled "Men in Tech #YesAllMen", in which I told my experience of being a woman in tech. I was afraid to publish it in case it affected my current or future employment. With all the current news I would like to add my 2¢. So here is the recording: youtu.be/WXL6K1lhvt0?...

Recently used Dexie.js + Svelte 5 createSubscriber. It took me a while to get the pattern right, since I rely on state changes to recreate my subscriber. The final result was pretty cool to see work so well. Definitely better than throwing $effects everywhere. verdevium.com/posts/devlog...

Hey, friends—I'm excited to share my new project! I call it Tupo. It's a daily logic puzzle with roots in sudoku, where every cell has to have a unique color-number combo. Give it a shot if you like daily logic games, and let me know what you think! playtupo.com

For years we've been respecting Do Not Track and GPC headers on Geizhals. If you have one of these headers set in your browser, we don't show a cookie banner and don't load ads or other third party stuff. It's not that hard. orf.at/stories/3441...
