Everyone should cancel Disney plus and Hulu streaming right now, right after reading this. I also would boycott the movies and product and Disney visits until they turn this around. They can cave to fascism, we don’t have to.

Equity planners: we must expand opportunities for marginalized communities to build generational wealth. Marginalized communities: I would like to sell my house to a developer at a huge profit and move out of the neighborhood where racist policy forced me to live. Equity planners: not like that!!!

Riding bikes is 10X more important than electric cars for reaching net-zero cities. And that’s just the climate emissions. Doesn’t include the massive public & personal cost difference, the air & noise pollution difference, the massive space difference, etc, etc. Via @theconversation.bsky.social

$73M is around half a million service hours. That’s a lot of major frequency and span improvements, and they would be a better use of the money.

thing about Cuomo is his posturing as the "get stuff done" candidate is complete bullshit. he *sucks* at management. an overconfident, sloppy moron who constantly makes howlingly bad decisions bsky.app/profile/timm...

My little brother worked in skilled nursing at the time, and I think Cuomo might be his least favorite person on earth. They all blame him for covid getting into their facilities

I thought my job as Senator was to try to keep my constituents alive.

BREAKING: Massachusetts House introduces the "Legalizing Massachusetts in All Massachusetts Communities Act." The bill would require all municipal zoning ordinances be updated to ensure they are no more restrictive than dimensions and uses of housing already there.

The Dems who joined the GOP on today’s cloture vote: Cortez Masto (NV), Durbin (IL), Fetterman (PA), Gillibrand (NY), King (ME), Hassan (NH), Peters (MI), Schatz (HI), Schumer (NY), Shaheen (NH).

Extraordinary moment — Nancy Pelosi issues a statement calling on Democratic senators to reject the House funding bill, i.e. to defy Chuck Schumer. "Democratic senators should listen to the women," she says, referring to Murray/DeLauro who want a 1-month stopgap bill instead.

The institutional Democratic Party is guided by an almost pathological level of conflict avoidance in almost every direction. “What can we do to make the least number of people mad?” is just a bankrupt way to operate.

Yo @durbin.senate.gov, no one is picking up your Senate phone and you don’t even have a voicemail. Vote no on cloture and the spending bill or I will do whatever it takes to make sure the next Senator from Illinois has basic constituent services set up during business hours.

Farmers are going to run to Congress for another handout to deal with the retaliatory tariffs and the answer from Dems has to be "no." This isn't out of retribution, it's because we can't keep creating escape hatches for GOP members of Congress. For the benefit of all, keep the pressure on them.

(1/3) It needs repeating: in 1994, Ukraine was persuaded to give up its nuclear weapons to Russia in return for the US, the UK, and Russia guaranteeing Ukraine’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.

Phil Murphy’s decision to side with Donald Trump in opposition to congestion pricing is one of the most shameful things I have ever seen from a democratic politician. he’s literally screwing over his own constituents who are benefiting from less traffic and better transit

Roughly 30% of the reason I am rooting for Mark Carney for Canadian PM is it would be incredibly funny to have a guy go from Governor of the Bank of Canada to Governor of the Bank of England to Prime Minister of Canada. 1792 ahh career path.
