Everyone involved in this process — including the Palantir employees — have to be investigated and probably go to jail.

Dhruv Mehrotra@dmehro.bsky.social

NEW: DHS agents tracked people observing ICE arrests, photographed them, ran their plates, pulled personal information, and added them to a Palantir database, according to newly unsealed court filings. w/ @regret.bsky.social

boosters don't like to hear "some of the critics are extremely right on this one" and people fully against it don't like to hear "it actually has some real value that's not smoke and mirrors"

my actual attitude about AI right now is that it's really useful for software dev but we have to find practices that mitigate the intellectual and material / environmental harms before we uncritically adopt it, and that means engaging with critique

if there are people at 1password making the racists afraid to be openly racist at work, a genuine thank you. no one is paid enough to do that work but it’s not to be taken for granted, also sorry you work with scumbags and your ceo is a colossal baby with no swag

andy™@andylevy.net

ah yes once again the racists are the real victims

Learn with Jason was quite possibly my favorite early Solid moment. I'm excited to talk about all that has changed in the past 5 years.

Jason Lengstorf@jason.energy

special edition of the Learn With Jason livestream is back, Thursday at 9:30am PT! what's the value in working on new web frameworks today? why should we care at all? @ryansolid.bsky.social has been working on Solid 2.0 and grappling with the shifting landscape of OSS youtube.com/live/8f09f50...

Are there other coding agents/harnesses that have a built in "monitor PR/CI" feature like Claude Code desktop? I don't wanna go back and type "check the CI status and reviews again" every 5 minutes but I'm also getting really sick of Claude models

if that were the case "reasonable consumers" wouldn't buy digital games. I'd argue it's "not plausible" to suggest that anyone would buy a game if they didn't believe they were "obtaining ownership" of it

Sony says "reasonable consumers" know they don’t own the digital PlayStation games they buy. It argues that it's "not plausible" to suggest that when they buy a digital game they actually believe they're "obtaining ownership" of it. www.videogameschronicle.com/news/sony-sa...

Shame liars out of public life; prosecute white-collar crime; regulate away all the business practices built on cheating people. Or just let society decay into incurable anomie and cynicism.

I feel like an issue that would connect well with voters would be doing anything at all to slow the current progression toward "absolutely everything now is a scam"

we don't wipe our ass! we don't wipe our ass!

Ben Collins@bencollins.bsky.social

Oh my god the dietician who is telling everyone in the White House to only eat steak and sauerkraut doesn't wipe his ass.

look at the red cities. oh wait, there aren't any.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "Look at the blue cities. What do they have in common? They're all dirty. They're filthy dirty. Their streets are dirty. Their streets smell. Their storefronts are broken. Their trees are all gross. Everything about the place is dirty. It's really all of them."

giving myself the diarrhea thats on the news to own the radical left

Right Wing Watch @rightwingwatch.bsky.social

MAGA cultist Eric Metaxas was outraged by seeing an air quality alert triggered by the Canadian wildfires that suggested people limit outdoor activity: "How dare they say that. Who has the right to tell me or you or anyone anything? It's a free country. I can do whatever I want."

today in news that's not even remotely surprising...

The Washington Post@washingtonpost.com

Top backers of Democratic Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner, as well as the state Democratic Party, are calling on him to end his campaign and rescinding endorsements after he was accused of sexual assault by a woman he previously dated.

"stop...describing me"

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Tom Emmer: "Minnesotans are so afraid that you're gonna call us a racist, you're gonna call us an Islamophobe. You know what? I'm done being even the least bit careful. Somalis don't assimilate. And if they don't assimilate, then they should go the hell back to where they came from."

has he considered that maybe his candidates suck ass and that's why mamdani backed their opponents

don't ask for our votes then

Jaime Harrison@jaimeharrison.bsky.social

I say this with no ill will or animosity: if you hate the Democratic Party, then please don’t run for our nomination. Don’t use our resources. Don’t rely on our volunteers. Don’t use our infrastructure. Don’t ask Democrats to invest their time, money, and energy in your campaign.

any serious Democratic candidate for nationwide office the next election cycle should have "get Palantir the fuck out of our government" in their platform

Sludge@sludge.bsky.social

NEW: Palantir has gone on a Democratic lobbyist hiring spree, picking up Hakeem Jeffries' former chief of staff, a top DCCC fundraiser, and a former Democratic senator to push its interests in Washington DC. readsludge.com/2026/06/22/p...

yeah public ownership of the most wildly, catastrophically overvalued companies in history sounds like a great idea smh

The Washington Post@washingtonpost.com

Americans could receive an annual $1,000 payment from AI companies under legislation Sen. Bernie Sanders introduced Thursday that would give the public a direct stake in the largest AI firms — an idea that has been echoed by President Trump.
