So… I’ve been thinking… if Democrats can take over Congress in November they need to set up a commission to investigate whether or not the Republican Party has any ties at all to America.

Marco Rubio is reportedly saying Maduro will stand trial in US courts. Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.

All I want for 2026 is for this country to have a president who is not a virulent racist or violent misogynist. Who isn’t destroying the institutions and buildings that made up our democracy. Who isn’t killing people abroad and kidnapping people here. Too much to ask?

BoG has the two Trump appointees (Waller/Bowman), with Kugler set to leave early next year. If Powell stays on (Board term through January 2028), the Board can't be controlled by Trump appointees for years. And even then, not clear Waller goes along with this sort of scheme if he's not made Chair.
