I am on clinical service doing ID consults currently. This weekend I saw two patients with COVID. Both were symptomatic enough to require antivirals and steroids. Both were under 65 years old but with comorbidities. COVID is still present, we can't restrict vaccine access for those who want them.

None of the 278 men sent to CECOT have been returned. Meanwhile their lawyer has been arrested and "disappeared" in El Salvador.

The guy who pushed hydroxychloroquine to treat Covid-19 (despite little evidence of its effectiveness) was named to serve in a top PANDEMIC PREVENTION role at HHS. Nothing Makes America Healthy Again quite like a leader who ignores scientific evidence for ineffective treatments.
