Honestly it would make so much more sense to appoint Viktor Orban as White House press secretary and Nicki Minaj U.N. Secretary-General.

This administration is just a Mad Libs filled in by the dumbest human beings on the planet. www.wsj.com/opinion/vikt...

I think the Lions should have refused that roughing call at 2:19–the third obviously wrong call against the Packers in this game. Has any team ever done that? In the name of fair play?

NEW: At least 18 voting centers in Alaska Native communities have not opened despite early voting having already started in the state last week. “There is no legal excuse for the failure to open these sites,” one state senator wrote to the Alaska elections chief.

I Saw It With My Own Eyes: I’m not trying to spy, but a college student in front of me is writing an essay about Carracci’s Assumption of the Virgin: just painstaking typing, looking at the painting, looking at articles. No ChatGPT, no Gemini, no nothing. I might actually hug them.

Correct. Read this story. Karma's a bitch... and MAGA deserves it. They've been trashing the USPS for decades and now it's going to bite them in the ass. bsky.app/profile/prop...

Three days after the August primary, election workers in one Washington county went to check for late mail-in ballots. They expected no more than a few dozen. Instead, there were more than 500 — each a vote that wouldn’t count.

🔥 OBAMA: “The thing is, Iran didn’t have nuclear weapons — because I put a deal in place he pulled out of… and the war he started is why the price of everything is UP… how much time do you think Hegseth spends looking at himself in the mirror? These are not serious people.”

Again: Why does Musk have operational control over any *military grade* version of anything. That’s not how DOD contracts work.

Sternenko is a credible person. Elon Musk has been found to have a pathological disregard for the truth and repeatedly gives perjured testimony under oath. Who would you believe? In any event, the truth is easily discernible through objective means.

Well, you can't expect a random reporter to understand the Constitution. I mean, it's not like she's CBS's chief *legal* correspond-- (finger to earpiece). Oh. Oh no. OK, yeah, that's bad.

Jan is a chief CBS reporter. She tweeted this about Tommy, the Republican operative accusing Abdul El-Sayed of terrorism, then deleted it. Zero questions about Tommy declaring he wants the Bible to supersede the Constitution. We need independent media. Join: www.qasimrashid.com/subscribe

Yesterday, Trump ally Mark Zuckerberg tried to squelch the voice of the people. He failed. More than seven million people came out for No Kings rallies. Now we need to ensure that Trump, Musk, Zuckerberg, and other powerful authoritarians inside and outside the government, fail again on November 3.

Republican politicians are *obsessed* with schoolchildren coming home a different gender because of pro-trans teachers, WHICH NEVER HAPPENS. But they are completely indifferent to schoolchildren not coming home *at all* because of guns, WHICH HAPPENS ALL THE TIME!

Again, this seems to be Republicans' big closing message for the midterms, so it's worth asking -- what the fuck are they talking about. Ask any parent with a kid in public schools if they'll so much as give them an Advil without written and signed permission. Then show them this insane shit.

Hard to think of anything less abstract and more materially consequential than being pregnant

Samuel Alito: We won't overturn Obergefell because it's engendered reliance interests. Jan Crawford: Well, many people had organized their lives around Roe v. Wade. Alito: No, they didn't. Women merely had an "abstract" interest in "ideas about the kind of society that they were going to live in."
