Ruin a song by adding "in my pants" to the title. All I Want For Christmas Is You In My Pants, Mariah Carey

Interesting development here. Hannity and Fox and Friends are now considered part of "the fake news" in Trump's eyes.

Trump: "I told Katie that in my opinion she was treated very very unfairly by the news. Let's call it the fake news. I said, 'Katie, do you need this? I don't think you need this.' We're talking about doing something. I want her to have a good life. She's being brutalized by the media."

So 4? That has to be a record for a presidential appointee.

President Donald Trump told reporters Friday that he asked his new press secretary, Katie Zacharia, to consider stepping aside after a difficult first week on the job.

From The Daily Show. Kyle Clark interviews Colorado gubernatorial candidate Victor Marx, a man who can’t tell you where he’s been, but he can tell you he’s an Exorcist.

BASH: One of the things that's happening is there's a push to start students down a trade school track as early as elementary school. Is that too early? LINDA McMAHON: I don't think so BASH: But elementary school? McMAHON: I think you can have some introduction of skilled trades in elementary

Ole Norm is a real genius. Things were so much better without vaccines and "modern hygiene." Who wouldn't want to go back to the days where average life expectancy was 40, and 30-40% of the population died before the age of 5? The good old days!

This idiotic tweet reminds me of when a friend and I visited Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta. Founded in 1850, it reveals a fascinating history. We noticed how many gravestones were for infants. And for many young sibling dying in the same week. We realized that it was before vaccines and antibiotics.

I understand his desire to broaden the user base, but he needs to tread very carefully. If he goes too hard after the kind of people who feel most at home on Twitter and Truth Social, he risks alienating his existing user base. He needs to learn from the mistakes made by CBS and CNN.

Bluesky's new CEO Toni Schneider on the platform's reputation for being a liberal bubble: "Yes, we definitely want that to change. It is already changing. It certainly wasn’t designed to attract one specific group of people."

Absolutely not true. Trump does look like a younger version of what Elvis looks like now.

Hoodlum 🇺🇸@nothoodlum.bsky.social

“Many people say that I look like a young Elvis Presley.” *By “many people,” he means absolutely no one on Earth.

Sure seems like ole Mitch has been aging backwards recently. Looks 5 years younger than this now. What's his secret?!?!

Dead or alive, Mitch McConnell is on extended medical leave — on your dime. This is the same Mitch McConnell who voted against: paid family and medical leave for everyone else.

When I worked in WaPo Opinions in 2017-2018, senior editors specifically told junior editors not to factcheck Marc Thiessen and other MAGA columnists, otherwise they wouldn’t be able to publish anything by them at all, and “we need them for intellectual diversity.”

Agree. I got a loaner X3 from the BMW dealer yesterday while my car was in the shop. I've driven a lot of different BMW models over the last 13 years, and this was the first one that had me stumped. I gave up figuring out how to adjust the air flow, turn on the stereo, etc. Horrible.

Why are all new cars so hideously unintuitive? Forget electric vehicles. Electric schmelectric. My next car money will go to the manufacturer that brings back physical knobs, car door handles, and a gear shift. Make cars… cars again. I don’t want to drive a tablet.

ER doctor here- I initially thought he’s on a ventilator with brain damage. But I just saw the video of him on the gurney to the ambulance. Not intubated, no oxygen, motionless. Covered in a sheet. They left in no rush code 2. He was declared deceased at the scene. He may well have been DNR.

This very effective teaching technique can be employed only once, unfortunately.

A pilot jumped out of the door of a moving plane to his death, leaving the student he was teaching to fly to land the aircraft by herself. The student said he told her, "You know what you have to do, carry on."
