Hard to say what's worse...not knowing her own daughter well enough to come up with an answer, the fact that she thought that such a generic response summed up her daugter, or the fact that she was apparantly willing to feed info about her daughter to an AI.

That $366 million Elon is spending to try and convince voters that Congress should stay Republican? It's more money than McCain's 2008 campaign spent. But it's also, relative to Musk's net worth, the same as a household at the median income spending $32.

ctinsider.comThe 2026 question: Which is more powerful, money or people?Elon Musk has spent $366 million this election cycle. Philip Bump examines what that kind of money can buy in American politics.

How does this motherfucker just continue to get more racist?

Trump: "The greatest ballroom ever built -- it's also a tremendous military complex with a drone port on top. Be careful. Don't fall over the edge. And only a Hispanic could survive that fall."

They want to rape teenage girls. That’s all this is. They believe that girls/women are nothing more than baby machines. They don’t believe statutory rape is a thing. They think they should be able to fuck who they want because they don’t see girls/women as actual people.

Fox News complains that underage teenage girls aren’t getting pregnant enough: “The problem is teens and young adults. From ages 15-19, the fertility rate is down 70% in the last 2 decades, which means we are telling people who are young not to have babies.”

If there is one issue Trump has been consistent on, it's protected child abusers.

if I were an elected representative and my constituents were coming up and saying "our daughter can't go to college unless she gets an athletic scholarship" I would be like "this is why we need universal free college" not "we'll pretend to solve this by being cruel to trans people." crazy right

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Gluesenkamp Perez: "At town halls, what I saw was the people who were the most upset had spent the last 12 years driving their girls to sports practice & they view their best shot of their student going to college as an athletic scholarship. So when we rush to moralize we miss some of the nuance."

Humphrey's Executor is dead and the president can fire anyone in the executive branch at will but NOT Federal Reserve governors is really a parody of the difference between the money power and everything else in America

The mother fucker who can't stop talking about 2020 is claiming that two months ago was "a long time ago" when it comes to 100 dead kids?

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

NYT: Can you now say whether you will hold anyone in your administration accountable for the strike on a school that killed more than 100 children? TRUMP: No. It's such a strange question to be asked. It's a long time ago. Mistakes are made. I would ask Pete Hegseth that question.

There is no world in which this is okay.     Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito did not recuse himself from cases involving Trump’s Treasury Department while his own son was secretly working there as a political appointee and attorney. 🧵

The Sinister 6 said last week that Callais did not overrule Allen, but today Allen is no longer good law because of Callais. They admitted today that they lied and never meant what they said about Allen in Callais.

Every court considering precedent from this SCOTUS that they disagree with should just assume that SCOTUS didn't actually mean what they said and ignore it.

Can someone please investigage which of his children and members of his cabinet bought coal stocks in the past day or two? And members of Congress while we're at it?

On today's AI slop from the president: The world is watching us. Our children are watching us. And anything short of outright condemnation, outrage and reflection on the systemic failures that brought us here—the consistent apologies or obscuring of racism in our national discourse—is unacceptable.

Congratulations to JK Rowling who managed to go from a beloved author to hated bigot in order to "protect women" by aligning herself with the world's most notorious trafficker of young girls.

Trans News Network@transnews.network

You’re not crazy. The anti-trans movement is not organic; it was funded by pedophilic billionaires like Jeffrey Epstein who backed a network of conservatives to accuse the same people they were sexually abusing of being the real danger. @madycast.com exposes the truth in our in-depth report.

Child at the podium: “A woo woo woo.” Mamdani: That’s how I felt when we came up with this plan. Together, we will expand the idea of what is possible in our city—and what sounds and noises we can make at a press conference.

Fuck this piece of shit and anyone who supports him. He is a cartoon of evil…a racist, sexist, murdering, thieving pedophile. There is nothing about him that is anything but evil. His only saving grace is that he is also profoundly stupid.

Phil Lewis@phillewis.bsky.social

Last night, Trump posted a video to his social media platform that contained a racist clip showing Barack and Michelle Obama as monkeys. It's still up:

So, lots of pretty damning stuff about a lot of rich and influential men in the Epstein dump. Anything going to happen to them or are all the institutions (NFL, Duke, Tesla board etc) just hoping people will forget in a couple of weeks?

The difference between the president and I is that I was raised to be a decent human being, and my faith teaches me to have compassion. He lacks both of those things.

We need everyone we can get in this fight against a fascist takeover. If your first instinct to someone being politically mobilized by all this is to give them a sneering "well, what took you so long?" you don't actually care about our winning this; you just want to be able to say you were right.

We need to shut it down. Anyone who supports funding DHS and ICE is an accomplice to the murder of Americans. This is about right and wrong, and murder is just plain wrong. No funding for DHS. No funding for ICE. We can stop this.

To be clear…Donald Trump is now, in his individual capacity, serving as chairman of an international organization of which the United States is not a member. This alone would be grounds for impeachment in any rational, law-based country.

ICE agents are America's failures, basically indistinguishable from lazy school shooters, losers who want to play Call of Duty on our streets against people who can't fight back. They have unlimited ammo and toss tear gas like they're pressing L1. They have to be defunded and jailed. All of them.
