If you release frequent updates to your Android app (more than every 2 weeks), please set up robust baseline profile pipeline otherwise most of your users will have poor app performance (see developer.android.com/topic/perfor...)

OpenJDK 28 EA build 21 (jdk.java.net/28/) is out, with Adaptive Heap Sizing and faster startup for ZGC. IMO this will be huge for reducing memory usage in Java desktop apps like @intellijidea.com and CLI tools where the heap defaults to 25% of RAM. No more -Xmx roulette #jvm #java #kotlin

Super neat thing i found out a couple days ago: if you're using Mixxx on Linux and you're using a Wayland-first distro/DE, start Mixxx through the CLI with the -platform xcb flag. That will make it work almost natively through XWayland. Sadly it took me way too long to figure this out on my own lmao
