Octopus is the easiest thing to cut out of your diet on moral grounds because it’s basically never around, probably has dreams and emotions and tastes like a tire.

Macklemore: Palestinian children are people. Robert Kraft *actively getting a handjob from a strip mall prostitute he refuses to tip*: We must ban this hate speech from every stadium in America. Let me call up my friends, the Epstein client list. Ed Sheeran: Good point, sir. Both sides, sir.

We were overdue for another fandom purge. Apparently Wattpad is going the way of FFN and LJ. ...gonna slip some cash AO3's way this week. And maybe Wikimedia.

I would like to go on record stating that I think all art should be 100x hornier. maybe 200x

Heeey so was just making a new RP blog account for Dreamwidth and it's been a long, long minute since I did so and I have so many questions

Just found myself standing in my fuck-ass kitchen eating ice cream straight from the tub. Also narrating the experience. Being middle aged is awesome.

Using lists of three is not an "AI tell." It's a common trait in human writing because our brains biologically want to make sure there's always one thing to marry, one thing to fuck, and one thing to murder.

Would assume everyone knows it by now, but just in case "First the traitors, then the invaders" is an explicit reference to The Turner Diaries, where a white supremacist revolution overruns "The System" and kills all their enemy during the evocatively named "Day of the Rope".

X owner Elon Musk indicates he would prioritise political violence (assassination of pro-migration politicians is the common sense meaning) over violence against "invaders" (refugees, asylum seekers, maybe ethnic minorities generally) while endorsing call for violence (killing) against both groups

What’s really getting me about this and all the ai food I’ve seen, is how comfortable we’ve gotten with false advertisement. The idea of generating AI ads without considering the need to replicate the look of the food advertised should be a huge tell of how comfortable we’ve become with it.

ai food in these posters always looks like nightmare sequences in shows where someone will be eating what they think is delicious food but then they look down and turns out its maggots and other bugs

A $3 @mta.info subway fare and some good Q train timing can buy you one hell of a view of the July 4th fireworks and the Brooklyn Bridge light show! Huge shoutout to the train operator for slow rolling over the Manhattan Bridge and the conductor for announcing it.

I do think it’s *interesting* that this isn’t Liberty, it’s Victory holding Liberty’s torch and wearing her crown. I do not think ultimately they are smart enough to have done this on purpose. But it’s INTERESTING

This was the best they could do for our 250th birthday.

If AI was as inevitable as all that, then you’d think that on some book review site, somewhere, “I think the author used AI” would be attached to at least one positive review, and yet.
