Not going to lie, this is pretty much a perfect example of a MAGA voter so I can see why they thought it would resonate with all the base that probably hate Vivek for being a few shade darker than they would find acceptable.

Call me old fashioned, but you should turn in your man card if you don’t have strong opinions about optimal TNR cat house construction and material selection.

Few things seems to cause a generational crash out more than pointing out that Gen X voted for Trump in greater numbers than any other generation…

Turns out the friction of having to learn photoshop was a crucial firewall protecting society from the terrible taste of small business owners

When I first heard about AI being used for menus and advertisements, my concern was largely that it would be used to idealize the food and make it look better than it actually was. At no point did I imagine that restaurants would willingly put out horrific looking images of their food on purpose

I’ll be honest, I think this is a sign of how badly they know they’re losing because there’s no way it will help them in the polls. This is more about them showing what they’ll do to citizens in general once they give the green light.

I’m sure live-streaming the firing squad execution of a dude in a wheelchair will really help those pole numbers…

jamelle@jamellebouie.net

a livestreamed execution is just a lynching

Apparently it’s “rude” and “disrespectful” to use AI to write responses to people who openly admit to using AI in all the workflow and communications; especially when I tell it to make sure that the emails I’m sending are very verbose but non-committal.

Like if you’re not willing/able to write a coherent and clear message without the help of whatever AI agent you have running, I shouldn’t be expected to read it or spend any time on it.

Apparently some of this stems from the fact that they’re personally paying for tokens for some of the work and I’m intentionally making them spend more money by rejecting stuff without reviewing it; which is amusing to me and makes me want to do it more because I don’t respect them.

Check in on the republicans you know; they just lost one of the legendary conservative pedos and are probably struggling with the loss of one of their idols.

I can assure you that if this happened at Ithaca college the Tompkins DA would not have gone to the same lengths to cover up this rape. People really can’t understand the amount of economic pull Cornell has on the area, even as they lay off tons of staff. www.nytimes.com/live/2026/10...

nytimes.comHochul Rebukes Prosecutor’s Handling of Cornell Case“In what world would the police” not elevate allegations of a rape to the district attorney, Gov. Kathy Hochul of New York asked.

To go further, they really have no way to conceive of the human experience in general, and are happy to offload that experience to a computer. Watching people totally sublimate themselves in favor of AI does make me wonder if it’s a mistake to give them too much freedom or power.

Like sure, you can totally hand off all your higher level functions and feelings to a chatbot if it makes you happy, but then we should be able to put you on a work farm somewhere where that same AI can make every decision for you until it works/optimizes you to death.

At least then actual humans can enjoy life and its many experiences without you telling “aChuAlLy Ai cOUld dO tHis.”

LMAO, it’s the end of the fiscal year and now a bunch of federal employees are going to have to spend tomorrow trying to rebrand all the AI shit. And this all has to be done because people are so fucking stupid they’re outsmarted by a chatbot.

United States President Donald Trump issues executive order instructing federal government agencies to "use the terms 'Super Intelligence' and 'SI' in place of 'Artificial Intelligence' and 'AI' and will not acknowledge the usage of 'Artificial Intelligence' and 'AI' in any applicable setting."

It’s amazing how much conservative men, who have been telling the lie about their masculinity for decades, are in fact the most pathetic cucks there are. Every one of them will fold to those they view as having more power, and absolutely clamber to debase themselves to demonstrate how weak they are

I had not seen this clip where Tammy Duckworth advises Democrats to "not impeach anybody," "get back to work" and "allow" Donald Trump to "save face" and I would just like to remind the senator from IL that the federal government took 4,000 Chicagoans and murdered a 38-year-old father last fall.

Conservatives desperately want cultural supremacy and yet they are incapable of producing art. I don't even mean great or good art, I mean "works that are arguably artistic." Every cultural artifact they produce in any medium is instantly recognizable as vapid, disposable, and unworthy of attention.

my argument is that Rory was simultaneously the product of terrible choices and also the purveyor of terrible choices but she did so while treated as if she were the zenith of the human race

One area where AI has improved my workflow is that I use it to write responses to people that are using AI to write all their emails and do all their business. It’s honestly pretty hilarious watching the conversation devolve into total slop that goes nowhere.

Me, a US-based academic: I don’t care what any scholar believes, we all need to stand up publicly whenever someone’s academic freedom is threatened Me, continuing: also, the first time this has happened, motivating me to sign my first ever open letter, is in late 2026, to a race scientist, in Ghent

Couldn’t imagine publicly stating that you support this type of shit.

This is the first open letter I've signed. I encourage all academics who still care about higher ed's credibility to do it. We're at a crossroads: if we can't uphold academic freedom even for those whose views are despicable, we won't agree on anything else. johnarmstrongmaths.com/openletters/...

Trump and his crippled giraffe Kelly Loeffler are trying to expand SBA small business size standards to add about 110,000 additional companies. The reason for this, more than likely, is to hand out preferential contracts, loans, and grants to their cronies. www.forbes.com/sites/johnsc...

I highly doubt that any MAGA is upset by this. I’ve never met one that doesn’t consider sex as a transaction; I know of one couple that even let their kid get SAed because they thought they would be written into a rich guys will.

It’s why they’re not bothered by Trump raping kids, because they believe that as long as they got proximity to power it was a good deal. These people will gleefully let the youth pastor rape their kids if it lets them sit a little closer to the front of the church.
