Gyroscope (1985) Gyroscope was obviously inspired by the arcade game Marble Madness, which hadn't made it to the Commodore 64 yet, but it is somewhat simpler. Your goal is to roll your ball from the top of the course to the bottom, with ramps and slopes along the way.

'Hoshi Wo Miru Hito' released on this day in 1987. Perhaps the most infamous RPG of the Famicom era, and renowned as "Densetsu no Kusoge" ("Legendary Shit Game") in its native Japan. Travel through walls, over oceans, and eventually into space in this utterly lawless adventure.
