The orientation I want congress to have: productive conflict is GOOD. Dems have a real credibility gap. They need to communicate clearly to the public what they are for. Hold the regime accountable and force Trumpists to oppose popular stuff. Don't muddy the message with watered down bipartisan BS.

Instead of using American economic power to pressure the country that started this war but shows no capability of winning it, Trump is offering that country economic relief while criticizing the nation that is successfully defending itself.

Iran wasn't running out of firepower. It was holding back. Now vessels are being sunk, missile tests are accelerating, and the scale of attacks is expanding dramatically. What we're witnessing should terrify Trump's war planners.
