I go to a lot of classical music concerts (my wife sings in them). They all talk about how the composer reworked their earlier X, Y, and Z pieces in this work, while also borrowing from composers A, B, and C. Anyway, reuse your game designs and borrow from others.

I'll never forget the experience of playing Baldur's Gate for the first time, adventuring in what my excited imagination took as a TTRPG's miniature-filled diorama having magically come to life. Thanks for the many adventures, on (and often below) the ground and in the stars above.

DOOM '98 Imagined what if id Software released an additional entry in the Doom series in 1998, using a technological mix between id Tech 2 and GoldSrc engine. Going for the blend of fantastical and grounded, which would be in vein of Half-Life and System Shock 2.

amazing thread, must-read for anyone planning to work within the PbtA principles. it's absolutely crucial to remember that, despite the universal die roll for tasks, PbtA is actually a series of contextual minigames

the "driving crooner" probably got the biggest laugh out of me, but i'd have to say overall it's "Darmine Doggy Doors". honorable mention to "i'm afraid the baby thinks people can't change"

as with any controls which depend on end-users, safety tools and sessions zero do not eliminate the possibility of serious safety failures at table. risks must be controlled much earlier in the process than the screaming brakes of the X-Card, whether in game design or session planning.

i think if you cut wile e coyote into little pieces, there's obviously no blood right. it's just coyote-colored cartoon matter. so if you eat those that's still vore. but fox mccloud, on the other hand, absolutely does bleed so it would be cannibalism. i think that's pretty self-evident
