Just another day in the Presidency as directed by Fellini.

I’m ENRAGED by this. Trump points out the display mocking former U.S. President Joe Biden, tells Xi “It’s Biden” and Xi laughs. Think about that. An American president mocking another American president IN FRONT OF A COMMUNIST DICTATOR. #Trump #Xi

“The United States seeks a more secure, more prosperous, more equitable world for all people because we know our future is bound to yours.” —President Joe Biden speaking at the UN, 2023 Remember when we had a leader who talked like a real president? www.americaamerica.news/p/this-cant-...

Effective 2025 federal tax rates paid by these corporations: Alphabet: 8.01% AT&T: 4.6% Meta: 3.57% General Motors: 3.09% Amazon: 1.37% Exxon Mobil: 1.31% Disney: -1.57% CVS Health: -3.88% Income tax rate paid by the typical American: 14.5% This is what a rigged system looks like.

Please remember this when Trump or anyone else from his regime talks about "waste, fraud, and abuse."

I just checked my voter registration. I encourage all of you to do the same. Try your state's official site. AVOID VoteSafe.Org. It's an Elon Musk scam to harvest data.

There are at least two provisions in the U.S. Code that make it illegal to offer or accept a $5,000 "GOP Dividend" for voting. Both the offerer (Donald Trump) and the accepter (good luck with that!) are liable for fines and jail time.

For years, New Yorkers have demanded access to City records about the lasting health impacts of the horrific September 11th attacks. For years, they have been denied and ignored. That ends today. nyc.gov/sept11docs

“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” Matthew 6:5-6

I cannot see a dead fish as a "conservation success". Bluefin tuna are still rare - they only avoid being technically endangered cos they stabilised at a tiny number. That's not a healthy population, just a stable one. Let them breed and really do well before you fish for them if you have to.

“Practice any Art: music, singing, dancing, acting, drawing, painting, sculpting, poetry, fiction, essays, reportage, no matter how well or badly, not to get money & fame but to experience becoming, to find out what's inside you, to make your soul grow.” IAN McKELLEN & the words of KURT VONNEGUT

Dozens of gas-burning power plants are being built across the country, solely to power data centers. These plants could emit as much planet-warming pollution as half of all passenger vehicles in the entire country in a single YEAR. We need a data center moratorium — now.

This is whole story is horrifying, and as a journalist covering ICE flights, I was struck by this sentence: “We were shipped to Texas overnight from Los Angeles in horrible conditions that I won’t elaborate on in this letter.”

The current administration has been Paid off by the Oil Companies….. “US strikes $1.2bn deal to pay German firm to halt offshore wind projects" Why are we spending billions of dollars to deny Americans cheaper energy? How does this make us great?

Tras la victoria de España en el Mundial 2026, Nico Williams le entregó su medalla de oro a su madre, María Arthuer, quien cruzó embarazada el desierto del Sáhara para salvar a su familia. Ty Cobb, a former White House attorney under Trump 1, believes Trump’s speech is intended to justify declaring a national emergency around the midterm elections. Cobb suggests Trump aims to intimidate voters, seize voting machines, and prevent the peaceful transfer of power.

Almost certainly the best thing I was ever told about owls was when I met an owl handler at an owl sanctuary and he told me that the wild owls who lived near the sanctuary worried about the tame show owls there and sometimes stopped by to leave them shrews and mice as presents.
