The next Democratic President should declare his pardons revoked and arrest everyone in the Administration for crimes we can prove they committed. Let the courts work out whether pardons can be revoked. It’s a novel case so it’ll need a couple years to percolate in the court system.

Pro-Palestinian protesters gather outside City Hall to call out Mayor Zohran Mamdani for what they see as his betrayal of the movement. "Mayor Mamdani, you can't hide we charge you with genocide" was a chant that just rang out.

This piece highlights something that doesn't get talked enough: Progressives should put forward a proposed set of rules for a new congress to facilitate defeating the far right and actually legislate.

Andy Craig@andycraig.bsky.social

The Constitution allows it. South Korea has proven it works. If you want to make impeachment viable—and so much else is pointless if you don't—then it can be done by a simple majority adopting a simple rules change: vote on the verdict by secret ballot.

Just the Federal Government knowingly and with malicious intent falsely accusing 15,903 American citizens of voter fraud.

Aaron Reichlin-Melnick@reichlinmelnick.bsky.social

Incredible. First Secretary Mullin claimed that DHS had identified 15,903 noncitizens on Nevada’s voter roll. Then DHS officials told a skeptical Nevada, no no no, that’s just people we flagged. Here are the names of 185 people we KNOW aren’t citizens. All 185 were citizens. DHS got 100% wrong.

i am genuinely bewildered by people who say that the rise of white nationalism in the republican party is a response to the "woke left." like, did the woke left cause pat buchanan's 1992 presidential campaign? is the woke left why steve king had a long career in congress?

Democrats still have not learned to answer this question properly: 1) There are basically zero trans athletes. This is a red herring to distract from Trump's failures & the Epstein files. Out of 500,000 NCAA athletes, fewer than 10 were trans. 2) Private organizations can set their own standards.

Most right-wing media outlets are not profitable. But their owners value the political voice more than profits. Ironically, it's the left that is more capitalist about media than the right. The Washington Times has run a deficit since its founding in 1982. National Review since 1955.
