This madman is the Elite, he is personally funding an entire party & running US military decisions in region. He wants US to back flailing authoritarian petrostate over democracy & freedom & opportunity because it will make HIM richer & more powerful. Just deranged propaganda flowing through SpaceX.

ICYMI, the DHS publicized the arrest of a Nigerian man claiming, without evidence, that he worked for a Democratic congressional candidate in a PA battleground district. A complaint was filed, calling the attack a blatant violation of the Hatch Act. buff.ly/8v2VqNH

Who's in charge of this country because it sure isn't us and it doesn't even appear to be the government anymore A bunch of paunchy moon-faced degenerate dead-eyed parasites forming a human centipede of investment in each others' vanity conglomerates, not a scintilla of civic virtue among them

So the same month that Elon Musk throttled Starlink to run his own military policy, he's also seeking more control over your flow of information. Musk and the Ellisons will control CNN and CBS for news; HBO, Warner Bros, Paramount & more for entertainment; Twitter (X) and TikTok for social media.

People will probably say my finger was too high but I was clicking directly on Nixon's name and DEM here Jacksonville, FL. The poll worker told me to use the stylus but it did the same thing.

In Nevada, they claimed 16,000 noncitizens were registered. Then they produced just 185 names. Nevada checked every single one. All 185 were U.S. citizens. Even the DOJ admits its accusations are only based on people who are only “likely” or “potentially” noncitizens.

At least it was catchable and corrected. I voted today and had to color in the bubbles next to the candidates of my choice and then scan the ballot through a reader. I have no idea if my vote was flipped or counted correctly; there was no receipt after scanning, just an "i voted" sticker.

By moving to the “center,” Democrats have failed to fight the forces that led us to Donald Trump: widening inequality, economic insecurity, and the unchecked political power of corporations and the rich. Political centrism is nonsense. There is no middle ground between democracy and oligarchy.

CEO of major defense firm, largest donor (by far) ever to a political party, person who ran the government for 6 month resulting 100k's of deaths threatening Congress if they investigate him is reinforcing why Congress needs to investigate him with urgency, depth, and real accountability.

Who the f--k are we kidding here with the fake MAGA outrage? There are tons of examples of mid-level government bureaucrats coming under intense pressure to enage in sordid corruption and potential crimes. Here's a partial list of examples: newrepublic.com/article/2168...

I think one reason Jon Ossoff is really popping right now is he's not afraid to say forthrightly that Trump's corrupt enablers should get ready to appear before Congress. He doesn't get derailed by fake MAGA outrage or MSM laundering of it as "controversy." newrepublic.com/article/2168...

The inability of the 117th Congress & Biden admin to hold the first Trump regime accountable for corruption, maladministration during a pandemic, attempted auto coup, conspiracy to defraud the people, & inciting insurrection is the worst accountability failure in U.S. history. Dems must use power.

washingtonpost.comFBI resisted opening probe into Trump’s role in Jan. 6 for more than a yearIn the DOJ’s investigation of Jan. 6, key Justice officials also quashed an early plan for a task force focused on people in Trump’s orbit.

FWIW, I refer to this as "closing the hardball gap." It's the idea that asymmetric adherence to norms is itself destablizing, and that norm-breaking can/should be done in democracy's defense. This is a bit dated but it gets at the basic point:

I wish Dems would fully understand this...and its implications...how it ties to Trump, accountability, elite/billionaire impunity and privilege, how our system is rigged, inequality.

It’s not just about affordability. Maybe for the first time since 1974, voters say their main concern heading into the midterms is corruption in government. Great to see.

Exposure is a first step towards accountability, but real accountability needs punishment, yes. Put it this way: Should a grand effort to overthrow US democracy that involved a lot of lawbreaking go down as a cautionary tale—a Do Not—or as a thing to try again because the consequences are minimal?
