“Lost media” no longer! I finally got permission to upload “AL’S BRAIN,” an 11-minute educational 3-D film attraction which ran at the Orange County and Western Washington fairs, and hasn’t been seen publicly since 2009. You can watch the whole thing here: youtu.be/2xujU87ZHt4

DHS agents secretly recorded meetings of anti-ICE protesters at churches, libraries around Minneapolis, infiltrated group chats, sought financial records, and more. The scope of the surveillance was “breathtaking,” @rlevinsonwaldman.bsky.social tells NPR.

This summer, more than 50 young men from Chicago Public Schools attended the MBK-Obama Leadership Academy to get ready for high school. They earned credits toward graduation, developed important life skills, and built connections. We’re proud of their hard work, and can’t wait to see what they do.

One of the great sights from antiquity is the uninhabited island of Delos, 20 minutes away from Mykonos by shuttle boat. Here’s a look at Delos (and why I much prefer visiting in the early evening, on the last shuttle of the day).   What’s your favorite ancient Greek sight?

Bay Area friends: would you consider opening your home to these two cuddly cats? A friend found them behind a gas station. Their sibling, a black cat, got adopted, but it appears no one likes orange cats. They are being kept in a bathroom for the time being and need a home.

A friend of mine found these three kittens behind a Bay Area gas station. They are tame, vaccinated, and incredibly affectionate. Unfortunately, she's unable to keep them and I'm trying to find them a home. They are at risk of going to a shelter. Bay Area people, are you open to adopting?

Yes to weighted pants. They'd give wearers killer calves. Nope. Not alone. And glad I'm not alone feeling feelings.
