Happy ALL HAIL CHAOS day! I loved LONG LIVE EVIL and am super excited to read. Rae/The Beauty Dipped in Blood is such a fun viewpoint character and the last book ended in a VERY TENSE situation so my body is ready

Apparently some folks are playing real dumb about skull symbols so let’s play a little game I like to call “Nazi skull or not a Nazi skull” First up, the Jolly Roger. This is a pirate skull, not a Nazi skull. It means you might get robbed, but prolly not genocided. With me so far? 1/x

I call it “joyful rigor” when I explain this effort to my students. I don’t believe in or rather, I’m not a “suffering poet.” I’m a writer who enjoys writing. The work works on me and I’m grateful for the opportunity to delve into the process at my own pace and to be changed by it.

That’s the other thing that baffles me about AI and creative writing, actually. The work IS the joy for me. I don’t want to be able to snap my fingers and have a completed “product.” I want to be transformed by the process. I’m an author but I do this because I enjoy the rigor of being a writer.

you don't understand. as someone who isn't inherently good at art, stealing paintings from the museum is the *only* way i'm able to express myself creatively. i wouldn't be able to paint beautiful portraits. but by breaking into a museum and stealing the paintings, now i am

more people should write fiction. it doesn't even have to be some literary masterpiece. if what you wanna write is 'what if breaking bad had jjba stands' then so be it. creative work isn't meant to be serious and if you want to have fun doing something then you should stop seeing it from that angle

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

I like how we’re getting “jet set radio but you’re a train”, “tony hawk but you’re a demon” and “ready 2 rumble but you’re a muppet.” Let’s see what else we got. Power Stone with bug girls. Bass Fishing with homosexuals. Shenmue for Goths.

How do I explain to offline people that my favorite Japanese mascot said "we can only be liberated from queer oppression if we are truly seen as human" and then started wielding fireworks like a rocket launcher on the side of a mountain without sounding like I've totally lost it? Chiitan forever

Chiitan has a dream. I hope that one day the term LGBT will become a thing of the past. I will continue to spread my message until we live in a world where everyone can love freely and is free from persecution and discrimination. Until then, let's all support each other🤍

If you know basic kabbalah it's actually not too hard to make a golem out of a labubu. Don't recommend it though. They have a pre-existing body-dharma. As soon as they wake they run straight for the sea. V hard to counter. Lost the first one. No idea what it's doing out there. Moved like lightning.

dyou ever think about how shang qinghua had no idea that he wrote a protagonist in a stallion novel who is fated to never be truly happy because he was actually in love with his teacher who deeply hated him and would never love him back so he just ended up filling that void with a harem.

and as a result the writer writes the protagonist into a situation inwhich the protagonist will never ever be truly happy because he's a book character who somehow developed some kind of [obsession with shen qingqiu] core but he Must Collect A Harem to make the fans happy

like. does mxtx know that's what they wrote. do they know that bingge's whole existence is conceptually kind of deeply depressing and terrifying. the concept that the protagonist, the core of the story, can have desires the writer isnt even aware of.
