Big shout out to Michael @edinburghminute.com who has not always been so supportive of Gayle and her work, but also dug deep to donate to the dog and cat home. A true Edinburgh hero!

We had to say goodbye to our Daiz a couple of months ago, and Gayle (of that guide) is doing a big run to raise money for @edindogcathome.bsky.social tomorrow. If you have a few quid, chip in โค๏ธ www.justgiving.com/fundraising/...

Don't mean to brag but I'm having a Guinness in Kay's Bar and there's like 6 great dogs in here

ideally i would love to support minority rights but in this case the minority in question is a minority of the population, so it just isn't worth it, mathematically speaking

Our train driver is telling us about interesting landmarks as we go "Kelpies on the right, Falkirk wheel on the left, punching through the Roman wall now" and I think we should add tip jars to ScotRail trains

If you've ever wondered what the underneath of an Edinburgh tenement looks like (complete with an errant ethernet cable) here you go

To save you a click, the advice here is: do the dishes / laundry, clean your bathroom, sweep and mop the floors. Inspirational stuff โœจ

Very much enjoying joining a game of Big Walk a bit late and just riding around leisurely trying to find my pals.

One of my favourite places to eat in edinburgh always asks if you're sitting in or taking away and this is their sitting in area

Kind of a bummer to come back from my parents' neighbourhood in central London that has moved on so much in 20 years (LTNs! Play streets! Cycle lanes galore! New pedestrianised spaces!) to the latest infrastructure shitshows at home.

I've made it to the motherland of Highbury where I can confirm it's far too hot but the chippy is still half the price of Edinburgh equivalents and lets you bring your own booze for free

This is grim. If you show children that they're not allowed to enjoy something because people will make fun of them; all they learn is to hide what they like and to make fun of others. Your children are not a blank page on which you decide what to write.

Cringe culture was always gonna lead to a trend of millennial parents banning their kids from watching anime so they don't grow up to be "weird."
