ive talked on how i wont engage with writers who use ai, i wont eat at a restaurant with an ai menu, i wont have anything to do with it. but what this post illustrates is regardless of how OTHERS react, ultimately the worst part about using ai is that you are punishing YOURSELF and dont even know it

JUST IN: The police shooting that killed 1-year-old Kohen Wiley as he sat in his mother’s lap in a Walmart parking lot in Senatobia, Miss., in June “was justified,” Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch’s office said on Monday. Her office will not charge the white officer who shot the child.

"I have to kill you so I can keep being a nanny, because it's not about me--it's about the noble profession of nannying!" The Muppet Babies' Nanny would slap the taste right out of this nanny's mouth for that. #TCMParty #TheNanny

This is a solid twenty-odd years before Lifetime movies came along, so of course Aunt Pen never learned the cardinal rule: never confront someone about a Big Secret somewhere alone where they can KILL YOU. #TCMParty #TheNanny

Bill doesn't need this family drama, though. He's got to get back to UNIT and look into that Auton matter. #TCMParty #TheNanny

This moment of karmic reprisal and stupidity was proudly presented by the all-new 1955 Lincoln Continental. #TCMParty #QueenBee

So Eva, on some level way the hell deep down, really just wants to be loved. Or she wants to know she finally won. The crazy part is that either is completely frigging valid in 2026. #TCMParty #QueenBee

Well, at least they didn't trip over something before seeing Carol's body in that relatively well-lit stable. #TCMParty #QueenBee

Damn. One Joan Crawford freakout and Jennifer's going from zero to kinda-jonesing-for-her-in-law mildly warm mess in about four minutes. #TCMParty #QueenBee

Okay, now I'm glad I have to go to bed. This has been a really depressing three and a half hours...good, but DAMN. #TCMParty #TheDayTheEarthCaughtFire #SilentRunning

#SilentRunning giving us gonk droids five years before Star Wars did is so far behind the downer vibe of the movie itself it's not even on radar. #TCMParty

'Threads.' Snarky as this movie was, you can definitely see a throughline of sorts to THAT. [thirty seconds later] Shut up, Ben, I was here first. On a techincality! #TheDayTheEarthCaughtFire #TCMParty

"People only care about the news when it becomes personal." [waves hands] [INFINITE JOKES REDACTED] #TCMParty #TheDayTheEarthCaughtFire

There are only two thoughts bouncing around in my head after seeing #MadamSatan this morning: 1. Screw Bob. 2. I don't think I've ever seen a movie pivot from cheating-husband kinda light comedy to vampy screwball comedy to "Fuck this set in particular, we're a disaster movie now." #TCMParty

Cobraaaaa oohlalalalalalalalalalalalalalalala! (The preceding joke has been brought to you by Vera West and an entire wardrobe department understanding the assignment.) #TCMParty #CobraWoman

...and in keeping with just about every film of this ilk for a solid thirty-plus years: who the hell introduced heels to the women of Cobra Island, anyway? #TCMParty #CobraWoman

Having never seen #CobraWoman before...that dance rated at least two large tents. Maybe a small trailer. Points to Maria Montez's hips for not lying in 1944. #TCMParty

Just a remarkable choice, this headline. No other leader of any other country in the history of the UN would get that headline after giving an address with that quote.

We're going to see more of these bogus stories trying to rehabilitate the image of DOGE bros who happily did massive damage. The premise of "oh we really thought we were helping" is a lie.

Sad excuse for journalism: Big profile of DOGE lord doesn’t say a word about all the damage he did. And it was not an “ill fated cost-cutting effort.” It was a malignant, catastrophic attack on the government and its workers by arrogant and ignorant assholes. www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2...

Just did a quick look around and I don't see very many headlines about the President of the US making people pledge allegiance to him personally while telling everyone to commit election fraud and "cheat like hell" to support his party. Seems like it should be a story?

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "Please right your right hand. I pledge to the greatest president in the history of the United States. That loves us so much he can't even breath. That I will go out with my family, my friends, I'll do it any way - I don't care if I'm registered or not, I'm going to try to cheat like hell..."

Reminder: 1. You don't need to have an opinion on everything, especially stuff you don't know enough about 2. You don't need to have a PUBLIC opinion on everything 3. It's okay to focus on one or two things and let others take up the slack elsewhere 4. It's okay to take a break when overwhelmed.

This is like Rowling saying that being assaulted in a bathroom (by a cis man) is why she's a TERF. That sucked and it shouldn't have happened but you're taking it out on people who aren't responsible because you're a bigot who can't separate.
