Anybody else use these Fobumix Easyhalers? Had my 30year+ trusty blue & brown inhalers swapped today for one of these. First impressions are underwhelming. Don't feel like I get anything but air. Doses appear really tiny when clicked into my hand. Or does this one sound like its a dud?

After a couple of days seems to be normal for this inhaler and work fine. Just taking a bit of getting used to. Couple of side effects I hope will fade.

You’ve gotta use AI because it’s the future. But also it’ll take your job. But also it’ll create a paradise on earth and solve most of our problems. But also it’ll end humanity soon. But also you’ll get left behind if you don’t use it right now.

You don't really get the full picture of the walking stick incident until you watch both angles at the same time... (Left via @climate_resist , right via Franceinfo on TikTok) First full speed, then slo-mo and annotated.

Billy Idol - Rebel Yell David Bowie - Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps) The Clash - London Calling The Cure - Head On The Door Radiohead - The Bends Interestingly not consistently my favourites, but my way in.

SCOOP: 404 Media placed a tracking device in a shipment of rare books to see which AI company was buying it. What did we find? It ended up at an Amazon facility where Amazon scans and destroys books. Yes. This is literally the logo outside the Amazon warehouse door. Read now:

Should have used bran flake box, then I could have double boxed it. Also made my viewing hole too big, but can gaffer that down to a better fit. Need to hold the cheese grater further away from the card. Until the images are quite blurry. Too close and its just a regular shadow, nothing to see.

Just enough time left to try a series of holes of different sizes punched into the foil. Enjoying playing the available views with my fingers over the holes. Simple things.

Hm If I'd fitted an angled bit of white cardboard at the bottom of this box at say 30 degrees of so. I can move the image by rotating the box. Would the angled card give me more choice over the best focal length? Moving the images along the diagonal?

Magpies are sounding upset about something, hard to tell what at the best of times, very aggie creatures. Lot of other birds are flying up to the trees to find their roost.

This is a dreadful development in our politics, which is bound to see dodgy & illegal lobbying now go unnoticed. And I say this as someone who, 20 years ago, was included in the register of MPs’ staff interests, when I worked for an MP. I never begrudged my inclusion on the register.

As you may know the word ‘farage’ means the liquid found at the bottom of a bin or waste container. So the Clacton by election is Binface vs bin juice. Thanks to all who sent photos. x

Nothing says 'man of the people' quite like a politician calling a by-election at public expense on the issue of whether or not he should have the right to secretly take donations from Thai-based crypto billionaires and a convicted fraudster

No less than 60 million stars in one image. It's possible thanks to ESA's Euclid mission. For just one day, Euclid turned its gaze to the crowded heart of the Milky Way and captured the largest, most detailed photo ever taken of our galaxy's centre in visible light. Let's dive deeper 👇 🔭 🧪 ☄️ 1/8

Think that was the second worst storm I've seen. Sometime in the mid 90's was woken during one that turned Corsham high street into a fast flowing river. Me and my flatmate went out paddling like schoolkids until the lightening sent us running back inside.

It appears Grok killed the schoolchildren in Iran, in tandem with a US military under Pete Hegseth who DGAF. Remember when Anthropic said 'No' to Hegseth's demand that they allow the DoD to use Claude to kill autonomously, with no human oversight? Check out this timeline:

So the big Brian tweeted this out to his 3M followers over on the other site - and even though it is a cesspit of doom over there - the comments are so supportive. A lot of love out there for physics and astronomy (albeit from a biased subset of Brian's lovely mega-fans) 🤩🔭⚛️
