Tory policy is to revoke permanent residence (ILR) for everybody who does not earn £38k - deporting most nurses who have ILR This is put in the video as "who is unlikely to contribute more than they cost" NB: video does not say EU settled status is exempt No govt since Idi Amin has done this

We flounced out of the EU on the say-so of politicians who lied to us. And what a total shitshow that’s turned out to be. The polar opposite of what they promised. Now the call to flounce out of the ECHR. By the same people. Telling the same lies. Has the country been kicked in the head by a horse?

Labour is promising to accerate NHS privatisation and even enter into disastrous Public Private Initiatives (PFIs), contrary to its manifesto. Not only does evidence show that privatisation is 1) more expensive and 2) worse for patient, but voters have never given permission for NHS privatisation.

This is an idea whose time has come in many countries. The clamour for young people to ā€œlearn a tradeā€ instead of going to university is loud. But a ā€œwhite collarā€ graduate career is arguably easier on the body. Who’s more likely to make it to 67 unscathed: a plumber or, say, a journalist?

For a large proportion of the Northern Irish population being required to have a document which identifies you as a UK citizen is impossible. So you need a compatible Irish ID card system. Which means you need the Irish govt to introduce one. And share the info. And that's not going to happen.

If Farage wins the next election, it will be down to one person. His name is Keir Starmer. This thread explains why. 1. Destroying faith in democracy. The UK decisively voted out the Tories, only for Starmer to give us a Continuity Tory government, shamefully beholden to economic power. 🧵
