At my Midwest town July 4 parade, I saw a cute little kid, whose parents are from Chile, wearing the jersey of Lamine Yamal, a Spanish soccer star whose parents came from Morocco and Equatorial Guinea, cheer as some old Shiners did wheelies in scooters streaming American flags. That’s my country.

How about instead: How about we teach kids how to be leaders with compassion. Teach them to strive to be the best but with humility. Definitely teach them Not to be racist or assholes
