. @Straczynski.bsky.social offers a congratulatory message to #StarTrek actor Walter Koenig as his first (of several) guest-starring episode of #Babylon5 debuts in March 1994. "I think the part will come as a considerable revelation to those familiar with your past roles."

I decided to watch a random Bester episode of #Babylon5 (I haven't had a watch-through in YEARS. Londo & G'Kar still the best characters. Bester is very good at his job without his powers. Also nothing surprises me about Psi Corp! No one kicks G'Quan up the arse!

RIP Walter. I was fortunate to meet him at a comic-con. I told how much I loved him as Chekov, and Bester. He told me that this favourite Star Trek film was The Voyage Home.

Some folks online recently bumped into my autobiography without knowing there had actually been one. And while searching other topics today on NPR I bumped into one of the reviews of said book, which I took as a sign to link it here for the curious. www.npr.org/2019/07/23/7...

npr.org'Becoming Superman' Chronicles The Life And Career Of J. Michael StraczynskiWhile the prolific Hollywood writer's career is well-documented, his personal history has been a mystery. His memoir is painful and inspiring, infuriating and full of hope, humorous and depressing.

It's 39 years to the day since Colin the House Dalek was seemingly talked into self-destruction in Remembrance of the Daleks, episode 4. In reality, he ended up as a dinner lady at Coal Hill School until joining our family as childcare. #DoctorWho

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

A day late, but this is one of the first images taken of Earth from space. Ever. It was acquired from an altitude of 105 km (five times higher than the previous record) eighty years ago, on 24 October 1946, with a 35 mm camera mounted on a V-2 rocket launched from the White Sands Missile Range.
