Trump is gonna turn Alaska forever-blue. Colluding with Russia to give them Alaskan assets and land while attempting a federal takeover of their elections. Incredible politics!

Don’t F with Alaska. Guarantee you this Trump/Blanche coup attempt is making the small government super-majority there infuriated, and may lead to an implosion of any pro-Trump politician there.

Adam Klasfeld@klasfeldreports.com

Alaska authorities strongly oppose the Trump DOJ’s attempted “interference” in the election. This is significant because there were concerns the state—which sought to DQ the second Sullivan—would take the same side. But it didn’t. Quite the contrary. buff.ly/EJHtDpX

One of the most effective things Obama could do for the party is let it rip like this all year long. He's so good, but he saves it for rallies a few weeks before elections like it's a severely-limited resource and that's just not how the modern communications environment has evolved.

Americans are relearning the lesson we learned during the Gilded Age of the late 1890s, when robber barons ran the government and the economy for their own benefit: Oligarchy is incompatible with the common good. I'm hopeful we'll respond with a new progressive movement.

Hey @jqwritesstuff.bsky.social Why is the hate speech that “gay men are much more likely to commit child molestation” presented without context or facts? It’s a hateful, bigoted lie. You follow it up with no context, then shift to defending him as “not striking” them back. Intentional? Editor?

The only other time you bring it up is to write that well he asks every gay man about that, and present it as all normal.

Was this an @latimes.com decision? Editor? Ownership? Or did you frame it this way all on your own and think this is ethically responsible journalism? No idea who you are, maybe you do good work. Dislike putting people on blast, but as a gay man I read this and was fucking baffled.

Justice Elena Kagan has sharply criticized the Supreme Court's conservative majority — saying it undermined democracy in a series of rulings, including several that prompted the wave of gerrymandering. "[T]he court has blinded itself to the very deleterious effects of their rulings."

America is currently being run by a cabal of 21st century robber barons, crazy racists, and pedophile protectors. Some who are all three. History will not be kind to this era, nor to the people involved.

Been thinking all week about the @nytimes.com interview with @markjacob.bsky.social. The Times said they don’t want to lose their fascist readers by reporting harshly on fascist politicians. Please think about that for a minute, what that means, and what it will (is) lead do.

Another reminder that billionaire fascists are astroturfing online and in traditional media everywhere to make it seems like their extremist ideas are popular. Months and months of supposed ‘huge movement’ that was a fabrication. Yet again.

This after CBS News “reporter” Jan Crawford was caught celebrating white nationalism on X. Crawford is a Weiss acolyte and plant. What they are doing isn’t hard to understand. We don’t have to watch, support, or give our time and money (ads) to this burgeoning propaganda organization.

Part of the answer to "how did we get here?" is that many major journalists—since 1998, Crawford has covered SCOTUS for PBS, ABC, and CBS—are lying bigots. Here Crawford is praising a guy who asked a dumb racist question, glitched out when asked why, then admitted he wanted a Christian theocracy.

I don't know how CBS News can claim it's a nonpartisan news outlet when a prominent CBS correspondent like Jan Crawford goes after Abdul El-Sayed in such a ridiculous manner. Of course, Crawford attended the CBS owners' dinner in honor of Trump, so her MAGA leanings were already well established.

This headline is bad enough. But, if @cnn.com is doing pieces on hecklers at rally’s and candidates responses, where is their feature piece on an Epstein protester being punched and brutalized at a Trump rally, while he urged the violence on? These are editorial choices, and shows a willful bias.

I ask this with all sincerity… When did it become OK for the President of the United States to sexually harass somebody in public? Continuously.

Trump on Jon Husted: "I examined his ass"

John Hustad deserves little sympathy for his role in all of this madness, but that doesn’t make it OK that the entire country is now just cool with this, I guess? I can’t imagine Hustad is OK with being sexually harassed like this.

ICYMI, last night a federal court in Arizona ordered ICE to "facilitate the return" of an Egyptian man currently imprisoned incommunicado by the Equatoguinean government. Mr. Soliman was sent to Equatorial Guinea with no notice. ICE refused his request for a torture screening.

Aaron Reichlin-Melnick@reichlinmelnick.bsky.social

WHOA. This is big news. Mr. Soliman is a 31-year-old gay man from Egypt who came here at 3 with a green card. He lost his green card after a conviction, but an immigration judge found that he would be persecuted in Egypt and barred sending him there. He's locked in a hotel in Equatorial Guinea now.

It seems like the plan is to spark (or stage) some kind of major incident and then use that as a pretext for martial law and federal seizure of elections. This would be absurdly unconstitutional and illegal, but it won’t stop them.
