Trump is so un-American that he canβt even stage a coup for a right wing dictator in Latin America. Shame.
BREAKING WaPo: Brazil's right-wing FlΓ‘vio Bolsonaro just effectively conceded defeat to the incumbent left-wing president β minutes after Trump indicated he would not intervene on his behalf.

Not only that there are many artists who enjoy drawing porn and they shouldn't be ashamed to sell it and charge what they're worth. Shaming sex workers who star in porn and artists who draw porn just makes things more dangerous for them and hurts their livelihoods.
I think artists and sex workers should have a natural allyship. Both of us are often told we should not be allowed to charge for our work if it is at all pleasurable. Both of us are wanted for what we can do, but our work is considered not worth paying for. We should stick together

this why I believe abstinence is the only real way, but I know it's hard we have been here before with smoking, where the best thing is never to start & the second best is to stop as soon as you can β and it doesn't matter if one cig a day is "not that bad" if you can go down to one go down to nil
that's what's so worrying! even so-called critical use still elicits the same feelings that draw you back to any use

I just want to name that people overcame this. Even against a stacked deck, the good fight is worth it. Win or lose, it's worth it. And sometimes the good guys win.
Bolsonaro-friendly mayors appear to be sabotaging public transport on Election Day. Buses arenβt running in Lula-friendly areas, flights and ferries mysteriously canceled. Traffic lights have gone out and peopleβs power cut in Salvador, indigenous peopleβs travel restricted

This Day in Labor History: October 24, 1975. Women in Iceland went on a one-day strike to protest both the unequal pay conditions they faced in the country and menβs refusal to recognize the reproductive labor they did at home. This is the largest protest in Iceland's history! Let's talk about it!

Extremely important thread! The VAST majority of GCs are men, not women, and it is right wing men who are the main purveyors of the ideology. Gender critical women are *extremely* rare.
Many, many people focus their understanding of transphobia on cis women and cis womenβs movements, such as TERFs, GCs, or anxiety around βfemale spaces.β To the point that cis female gender anxiety gets blamed for the entirety of transphobia. I do not like this! It is misleading and it is misogyny.

in my experience, people who were exposed to severe Christian homophobia in the 2000s were protected against "Just Asking Questions" transphobia of the 2010s precisely because we realize that it never stops at "these are human beings" and always goes to cruelty
every now & then someone on the anti-trans side will get cold feet about how openly ugly it's all gettingβthey want to keep the image of a nice, sensible centrist but it's never enough for them to get off the train

For decades we hear women have smaller brains therefore we're stupid (yes, look up the great term for this "neurosexism") β but now it's "crows have a small brain therefore they are smart"? We're winning and have a murder on our side, I guess. Cool.
Crows have brains βin the fast lane,β according to Andreas Nieder, who showed in a new study that they make perceptual decisions twice as fast as primates. #neuroskyence By @sarahthau.bsky.social www.thetransmitter.org/behavior/cro...

The conclusion is NOT "we need to debias LLMs" Besides that it's impossible, it also detracts from the point, which is: We shouldn't use machines to offload of the very cognition that is constitutive of the work to be done & supercharge existing inequities and injustices in the process. π§΅

If youβre posting about your game assume this is the first and last time the viewer will see it mentioned- have a link. If they follow you already, great, you made it easy for them to wishlist at long last. If they donβt, itβs your one shot to retain their interest- post accordingly.
Just a reminder to all the indie devs: You can just post a link to your game when you mention it. In fact, attaching a link and thumbnail beneath doesn't even add to the character count. This isn't Twitter. You won't be suffocated in your sleep by the algorithm here. There is no algorithm here.
