Witkoff to Putin: "You talk so much about President Trump being a humanitarian. You're a humanitarian also, sir, I salute that. I commend you, I thank you." HE MURDERS BABIES! BABIES!!! In their strollers. He murders adults too, entire families. Every day. I can't believe I'm fucking watching this!

Simply read this summary on what is driving the increased prevalence of mental health distress from the long awaiting final independent report into teenage mental health. Now compare it to the public discussion on mental health which basically comes down to social media and over-diagnosis.

Is it asking too much to expect at least internal consistency from lying grifters?

every billionaire & tech mogul, they all want to be adored & celebrated without doing the things Dolly did with a fraction of the power & money. What she had, she gave away. I'm sure she was comfortable (& that's good!). But she just relentlessly helped. It's not that difficult. Love. Care. Help. 💚🌸

my jr high pre-algebra teacher called improper fractions "Dolly Parton fractions" because they "had big ones on top." We can debate the appropriateness of this but i *do* still remember what improper fractions are.

Call me over-sensitive, but I think headline writers need to be careful when using words like secret and police when referring to Germany. Turns out, it's the location of the warehouse that's secret, not a warehouse of the Secret Police www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Starmer's speech tl;dr: 'The UK and the world faces its most dangerous moment in over 50 years and we need much more than incremental change, and that is why we're nationalising one steel plant, might introduce a European youth movement scheme, and want to fund more apprenticeships'.

"The forest was shrinking, but the trees kept voting for the axe, for the axe ... [had] ... convinced the trees that because his handle was made of wood, he was one of them." He isn't one of us. #NigelFarage

Important data point here: “A sharp fall in Labour's performance is accompanied more often by an above average Green performance than it is by a strong Reform performance”. The Greens have already hurt Labour even before any direct gains.

I’ve been hearing so much anger and disappointment from frontline workers about the BBC investigation into fraudulent asylum claims. One of the most damning responses has come from one of the experts they interviewed, solicitor Ana Gonzalez. It’s really worth reading her response in full:

This is a video of 2 halves. The first is sensible, normal and what I'd expect from a channel I stumbled on watching nerdy stuff on YouTube. The second half, after the 'credits'? Oh blimey it hits *hard*. Especially coming from someone who usually does videos about things like DVD-RW vs DVD+RW.

PublicSquare seems to have memory-holed its marketplace pages, but I just scraped 40k of them from the Wayback Machine and extracted JSON data for 37k businesses, including 34k distinct email addresses, 31k phone numbers, physical addresses, etc.

I remember searching the PublicSquare listings just a few months ago - the tool that let you view affiliated businesses by state appears to be GONE now. Guess the MAGA's realized they are, in fact, widely hated. www.publicsquare.com

So the combined pitch from Farage and Jenrick is that it took Jenrick at least 4 months to come to the conclusion that Reform is probably the best party to run the country, but like, he's only 60% sure of that?

I genuinely do not understand why this is allowed. There's lots I disagree with, but understand the logic. Party funding? - people don't want to find the BNP etc... But hospitality? Why is this necessary?
