Tim

Hey there, my name's Tim! I usually just paint models and share art/comics I like.

I'm trying to remember how to weather with oils. Noticed one thing: odourless thinner while good for blending is unexpectedly frustrating to work with, gives too smooth blends when I usually need more gritty effects. So for most uses I'm going with more aggressive white spirit.

No prizes for guessing where we are heading today! #Borodino

2 more for the Guardians of Atlantis boardgame! 3 more on the docket. Plan is to have them done on Friday night. #minipainting #commissionpainting

not yet, funk soul brother

The cycle remains unbroken! Post a French video, get a HIGH-LAHR-YUS comment about surrender! If you're not a dribbling ninny with a reading age measured in 'chewing the corners of the cardboard dog book,' you might know getting Foreign Legion to surrender was... a challenge. youtu.be/zdePNVEcmQI

Day 90 of posting one big guy until Kamigawa TitanBreach ITS TIME FOR THE ALL IMPORTANT QUESTION CHAT 1-800 ARE. YOU. FLAPPIN'?

The Superman No Smoking Ad, but I lost the audio track and dubbed it from memory

The Arena Girl in Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave. Sometimes the NPCs deserve some love too and I just really liked her design.

good morning

proof that racism makes you hopelessly stupid

A selection of WWII vehicles from games put on at #Partizan yesterday. As ever the standard of display games was amazing.

The most fun thing ever to randomly see

Realizations

Day 79 of posting one big guy until Kamigawa Titanbreach. Do you enjoy surprises? Rubblehulk gets to be a rather large surprise for your opponent. You probably wont see this one be on the field as much as you will be getting hit for commander damage courtesy of this.

Full disclosure: I felt I had to be kind of quiet about my support for the arena union because I was actively applying to wotc at the time. No longer the case, so I will be much louder about this.

the guzzler #fireemblem

Poor choice

Continued W2 Bolt Action French commission. More French navy pressed into infantry role. Converted Warlord plastic models.

Oathmark: What am I doing today? I’m cutting pieces of plastic sprue and filing it down and adding a wood-like texture to it so I can make a catapult for my Orcs. Still a ways to go, but I’m enjoying this! 😃👍

The song of battle plays. Leda from Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, made as the September '26 Supporter Poll winner! #pixelart #ドット絵 #art #fanart #fireemblem #nintendo

My friend got a picture of them all together.

ingrid: *sigh* heres my fifth marriage proposal i have to listen to my dad consider because otherwise our territory will starve cai: been getting into bird rodeo lately

Oathmark: One of the early scenarios in the Oathmark 2ed rulebook calls for the defence of some Oathmarks, so I decided to make some. These are made from air drying clay and I tried to make them look a little rustic and old. I’m quite pleased with them. 👍

Managed to get almost no photos, but I played a game of Bolt Acton with Graham on Tuesday night, he won 20-8 with my Tiger dying the first time his Achilles looked at it #Warmongers #BoltAction

I post this solely so that I may see that image of a cat I saw a million years ago that to this day gives me the giggles. Clearly not a happy camper.

Continued Late WW2 French commission. Free French infantry outfitted in US clothing and weapons but with French arm-badges. 28mm plastic Warlord.

I drew a comic strip.

Resharing a clip I saw circulating of a restored/repro Renault FT on the move. Supremely cool to see! #MilitaryHistory #France #Tank #Armor #WWI #WW1 #WWII #WW2

Roman older brother and Greek little brother (thinking about their original names)

Managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory from the jaws of defeat playing #OnBloodyGround with Phil. After a disastrous start losing four units in two turns & inflicting minimal casualties my Ancients Germans had the Romans on the ropes before an extremely lucky dice roll saved their bacon!
