Oh My life! The BBC having the brass neck to say "the public" might re-think their attitudes towards Meghan Markle! I'm certain the majority of the ill-will towards her was manufactured by our right wing media along with the BBC. Most of us said 'leave them alone!' www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Bolsonaro's loss is not just a loss for Bolsonaro. It's a loss for Trump. For Musk. For Milei. For Netanyahu. For Farage. For Meta and Zuckerberg. For the meat barons, the fossil fuel corporations, and the rest of the neocolonial looters. And it is a massive win for humanity and the living planet.

Trump and his supporters love debt and deficits

Trump has served as US president for just over 2% of the nation's history, yet he is responsible for nearly 30% of its entire public debt. Read that again

Healey is wrong to claim that Heathrow extension will boost GDP. That's false. it simply diverts resources from more useful and sustainable projects, with huge disruption along the way. It only serves the interests of Heathrow's owners.

Absolutely desperate. As @guyshrubsole.bsky.social was saying at the weekend: 50 MILLION pheasants are released into the wild annually. The biomass outweighs that of all native bird species combined.

The rush to speculate that asylum seekers are responsible for every crime in the news is a sort of opportunistic informational terrorism. Until it’s disproved it stokes fear and hatred. When it is disproved there are no adverse consequences and they know that they only have to be lucky once.

Our system of government is not equipped for an authoritarian strongman who brazenly ignores court orders and rejects the rule of law. This is why it was always important not to elect a lawless maniac in the first place, but this is what Americans apparently wanted. Oops.

The oldest trick in the book: to check if someone is a traitor or not you feed him false informations. If the enemy act in response to them that's proof that the traitor leaked them. Well, France and Ukraine fed Trump with disinfo, and Putin reacted. Case closed.

Don't forget before the last 14 Yr run of tory government the NHS was regarded as best model of healthcare in the world. Value for money, patient outcome and satisfaction, etc. It was diliberately broken in an attempt to emulate the US model. It WAS possible to maintain the NHS. Now it's a rebuild!

So a guy who got a “ scholarship to Eaton” and went to Cambridge Uni for free decides he doesn’t want to contribute to the UK anymore! Good riddance , please leave your passport as you go, OFC they never do!

No arrests were made!! Imagine doing this outside Buckingham Palace or HoP. Suggest even walking down some streets, question would be asked ! Chances are some are off duty coppers ? Remember the OAP’s arrested for wearing certain T shirts! Shameful!

There’s an uncomfortable sense of déjà vu in the British attitude here: every act of cooperation is still booked as a “concession”, every EU gain as a British loss. It’s the same zero-sum Brexit psychology just with friendlier language. Until that changes, the relationship won’t.

There is so much more to say. Some of it here. We cannot let this lie. It's not politics. It's not ideology. It's not a culture war. It's a question of basic humanity. A man is dead. And he should be alive. And maybe he still would be. If it wasn't for us. ENDS
