U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson says it’s long past time for tough sanctions on Russia, calling the moment “desperate times demanding desperate measures.” He expressed strong congressional support. But, he said no action will be taken without alignment with Trump. A dog listening to its owner.

There is literally no Western politician alive that I can think of that has incited more hate, bigotry, and violence than Donald Trump. That so many in our public life, in our 'liberal' media, have just memory-holed 10 years of nonstop incitement and abuse from him is shameful.

A reminder that Trump called Baltimore a 'hellhole' today to no controversy or scandalous headlines. Imagine a Democratic president calling a red state or red city a hellhole. Just imagine. Oh, the double standards.

If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, denies it’s a duck, demands you prove it's a duck, accuses you of being a duck, says your dog is a duck, and that it won't shit on your grass anymore if you just give it your garden, it’s a Kremlin duck 🦆

It's just so sad and pathetic to think that Marco Rubio of all people—who long reviled Putin and who spent his Senate career championing human rights—would be reduced to echoing Neville Chamberlain ("A quarrel in a faraway country, between people of whom we know nothing").

Marco Rubio: "Life in America on a daily basis will be largely unaffected whether there's peace in Ukraine or not. That's just a fact. We have a lot of issues we're focused on not just at home, but around the world."

The "summit" hasn't even begun, and I'm pissed about headlines, like "Trump traveling to Alaska to meet Putin." This isn't some cordial meeting of leaders. It's a deranged fascist Felon welcoming the most hideous war criminal of our time on US soil. Never normalize this. Any of it.

He’ll never get elected. Norms will restrain him. Mueller will get him. He can’t come back from J6. No way he’ll get re-elected. Epstein will bring him down. He’s overplayed his hand. He has dementia. This isn’t who we are. (Fables of the Trumpocene)

After ignoring Trump's words and insulting & belittling him with my actions every single day of his 2nd presidency, he has finally snapped and punished me with a 1-1 summit on US soil.

It’s truly depraved for Trump to welcome Vladimir Putin to the US while Putin is actively wanted by the International Criminal Court for war crimes in Ukraine. Trump calls this a peace summit but it’s just an opportunity to hang out with one of his dictator buddies. www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-a...

No, he’s not giving Putin Alaska, but he is giving Putin a huge gift: the legitimacy of touching down on US soil at the invitation of a US president. A reward for the full-scale invasion of a sovereign, democratic country that the United States and its European allies support.

Putin is COMING TO THE UNITED STATES? Even by Trump 2.0 standards, this is beyond belief. U.S. diplomacy is dead.

weird how the guy born into obscene wealth, bailed out repeatedly, allowed to fail upwards forever until he fell ass-backwards into the presidency, and then was declared by the Supreme Court to be a Very Special Boy Who Can Crime Forever never stops whining about how everything is rigged against him
