Because no matter your race, religion, gender, language or culture, it is ALWAYS a class issue. If we ever collectively learn that we will be much better off.
US garment workers helped pioneer multi-ethnic labor unions, which united people across racial, religious, gender, linguistic, and cultural divides. Also native-born citizens and immigrants. I think about that sometimes when I see people suggest such divides are unbridgeable.

The only excuse for this sort of brazen cravenness is that the men/companies who are so averse to paying taxes are without a doubt the most dependent on federal money. The true welfare queens destroying our society...

I'm not sure if y'all saw a CNN report on how the US had almost started WW3 with China based on fabricated information generated by a chatbot, claiming that a Chinese vessel was carrying components of nuclear weapons. That was an "existential threat" to humanity www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Meta announced that its new AI agent, Muse could call businesses for you to do things like make reservations. But in reality, Meta is testing having these calls being made by human beings in call centers, 404 Media @jasonkoebler.bsky.social learned. www.404media.co/meta-tests-m...
Even more reverse centaurism. As a society, we haven't agreed we even want AI. Yet large segments of the workforce are already working for AI instead of the other way around. @doctorow.pluralistic.net nailed this prediction and @404media.co's coverage is killing it...

That's exactly what it is. It's doing what it is programmed and prompted to do. But we have to consider quarterly returns for investors before, you know, just stopping which nobody else would care about.

New — I wrote about this weird thing where people within the Republican party keep being exposed as Nazis and the party then tries to claim each one is an aberration. The facts, as I lay out here, indicate otherwise:
Yeah but didn't Hunter Biden have a laptop or something...?

We did it! “The Nerd Reich” is a New York Times Instant Bestseller! My book debuts at #3 on the non-fiction list. Thanks to all who pre-ordered /bought the book—or requested it at the public library or promoted it on social. Without you, I’m just an unemployed guy with a laptop. But with you…

I'm not surprised. Personally I find this subject difficult to broach with people without feeling like they think I'm wearing a tinfoil hat. But this book is so cogent, researched, and cited that its message is impossible to deny. These people have told us what they want to do and they're doing it.
I encourage people to buy "The Nerd Reich" at local bookstores or on @bookshop.org (an amazing alternative to Amazon). But it's *crazy* that my book is already at #11 on Amazon's chart of top sellers. I thought I'd be talking to five people in a bookstore somewhere, but interest is off the chain!
