In 2020, Jared Kushner was senior advisor to the president of the United States, a full-time employee of the United States government, and was subject to numerous disclosure requirements and ethical restrictions under the Ethics in Government Act of 1978.

Many of you are asking how you can help me. My only ask is this: Spread the word about the threats to democracy and how we can fight back. Tell everyone to subscribe to Democracy Docket and share its content. demdock.com/4w6emld

Most people use AmEX for the points. In the Amb. Kimberly Guilfoyle texts, it's so the money "won't show" I was an ambassador myself & I've never seen anything like this She denies it, but you can smell this one from Athens! More on @CNN.com 👇

Ossoff: "They see the rebuke that is coming and fear the accountability that will follow it. They recognize the president is deeply unpopular. He's reviled. The public is awake to his corruption and self-dealing…The truth will come out. Mark my words. The truth will come out.”

📌Barack Obama was targeted 11 times in assassination attempts during this two terms. I bet you don't remember any of them because they were handled through proper channels, professionally, and he isn't a whiny bitch.

Update from David Corn on the DOJ continuing to file in support of Alexander Smirnov’s appeal. I reported in November he had been quietly furloughed even tho judge said he was a flight risk.

SCOOP. From my OUR LAND newsletter: Trump's DOJ is helping to get a convicted FBI informant tied to Russian intelligence out of prison. The lie this guy told the FBI—Joe Biden took a $5m bribe from Burisma—was the main evidence for the GOP impeachment drive. 1/2 link.motherjones.com/public/44694...

One of the many reasons we were so determined to publish this story was that we felt we needed to sound the alarm to our journalism colleagues—and the public. Is this an isolated incident? Such things rarely are.

1/ MUST READ: @dfriedman.bsky.social asked the Pentagon about a Goodreads page linked to the email of a top official that featured pornographic books. Then, MAGA influencer—and newly minted member of DOD press corps—Jack Posobiec threatened to smear him. Quite the coincidence! ow.ly/EpQp50XHpYo

Mark Kelly: "I said something that was pretty simple and non-controversial, and that was that members of the military should follow the law. In response to that, Trump said I should be executed, I should be hanged ... it says a lot more about him than it says about me. I'm not going to be silenced."

Tom Barrack is the current Trump Regime ambassador to Turkey. This turned my stomach. Trump's order to Bondi to open investigations didn't include Tom Barrack.

Buttigieg: You’ve got a president and a Republican Congress who would rather see the entire government shut down than allow Americans to afford their healthcare.

I was back at 26 Federal Plaza today, where an ICE agent violently threw this bereft woman to the ground in front of her kids. She had not touched him. She did not pose any threat. She had to be taken to the hospital. (🎥: Elias Eliahu)

A reminder that if the government can send migrants to a prison camp without any due process, it can send U.S. citizens there, too. I know because this happened to me and my family in 1942.

I stand tall and firm against this Administration to fight back against the attacks targeting lawyers and law firms. I could not agree more with this op-ed.

It's only a matter of time when the news division receives the same edict. It may not be this direct, but it will impact what stories are covered, what stories are buried, what investigative projects will be shelved -- or not investigated at all. It's a sad day for American journalism.

Massive encroachment by Bezos into The Washington Post’s opinion section - makes clear dissenting views will not be published I still have not felt encroachment on my journalism on the news side, but if Bezos tries interfering with the news side I will be quitting immediately and letting you know

Elon musk is the richest man in the world, he could be funding hospitals, medical research and universities. He could be solving the climate crisis. He could be feeding, hungry children. Instead, he’s trying to make sure that your grandmother doesn’t get an extra dollar of Social Security.

Elon Musk has ZERO receipts for his claims of “fraud” in government agencies. But there seem to be a LOT of receipts showing that those same government agencies were investigating or regulating Musk and his companies.

I always thought Elon Musk was the most dangerous man in America but I viewed him as a danger primarily in terms of his wealth and his disinformation power. I didn't realize he would pose an actual threat to our form of government, our national security, and our most sensitive personal data. Sheesh.
