Central Illinois here Adam. I work for a medium sized not for profit (100 employees) and our HR Director just had a meeting with our insurance carrier so we are all waiting to see how much our premiums are going to rise. Between rising groceries, electricity and healthcare I am worried.

It's greed. Nothing more and nothing less. Allowing the ACA tax credits came in at the same amount that they needed to fund the tax provisions geared towards the oligarchs. So, the only way that they could make those permanent is to get rid of the tax credits for health care, and Medicaid cuts.

Johnson is likely trying desperately to get one of the Republicans who want the files released to flip. If he can do that, he can more forward on the shutdown, and then a quick vote to not release the files (for now).
