Biden: "I also learned something from Donald Trump. He signed checks for people ... I didn't -- stupid."

That is very true. My wife pointed that out. People would say Trump sent me money. Biden/Harris never sold their achievements. Every infrastructure project and new factory should have had a billboard saying:”Brought to you by the Biden/Harris Administration.

I will miss President Joe Biden—the greatest U.S. President in recent history. He committed one grievous sin: He got old, and our society does not value the elderly, even when they are the most capable of leading the country. We want to razzle-dazzle. Damn the consequences.

Biden may think he was joking, but he shouldn’t have been. Not putting his name on the checks the American rescue plan sent out was stupid. His administration never understood how to take credit for his accomplishments.

Biden should have stuck with his tacit promise to serve one term. He could have concentrated 100% on governing without worrying about reelection and he would probably be riding off into the sunset as a hero right now. Alas, his legacy is Trump.

We're in 'it's funny because it's true' territory here. All the last four years have shown is that America has no time for people who quietly work to make things better, but it will sell its soul to people who do nothing but fill their own pockets but will at least SHOUT that things are better.

Oh and don’t forget the Rico ring interview Sunday and his fascination with groceries…the man with the nuclear codes has never used the word before - what could go wrong?!?

They have to put warning on bleach not to drink it. Those warning aren’t on there to deter toddler - who can’t read yet. They have to put warning on hair drier not to use them while in a bath tub. Dumb people are REALLY dumb. And even dumb citizens get to vote.

Except he did, I remember getting a letter from ‘Biden’ saying he was sending the $1200 check. I remember because they admonished Trump for it then copied him, I remember because he and Nancy said $600 was plenty, then Trump shamed them into double. I hate Trump, but the Dems are just as bad. 🤷‍♂️

Holy crap—a Democrat who freaking *finally* gets it!! Think of how different things might be if they’d woken up and fought fire with fire these past 4 years! Taking the high road gets you nowhere these days except maybe at a dead end in a dark alley.

Technically most people didn't see a check because of direct deposit- but the point is correct, Democrats never herald their achievements. Every single infrastructure project should have a huge billboard next to it saying "Brought to you by President Biden and Congressional Democrats."

I got a direct deposit and also a copy of a letter signed by Mango Mussolini, with the check amount on it, next to his ugly signature. The point was to make ignorant people believe he gave them that $. And, it worked all the idiots fell for it 😢

If Democrats herald their achievements, they get hit from the left and the right saying, "but there are still poor, homeless, hungry people. How dare you take credit for your achievements. My brother's girlfriend knows a guy who knows a guy who is sleeping on his couch."

The Fairness Doctrine, expanding the Supreme Court and working towards overturning Citizens United could have saved us. He could still work on these things. Not signing the checks shouldn't be hisfocus at this late stage. Ffs

Jokes aside...I really do wish that Biden had been better at publicizing and taking credit for his accomplishments. He wasn't a perfect president but history will judge his policy achievements kindly. His inability to get political credit for those achievements may doom the Republic.

The fucking carnival barker Trump tells you when he has a healthy shit, Biden doesn't do much about all the Chips act, and infrastructure benefits. He should have had more TV airtime, but he sounds like an old man when he talks so the WH has kept him away from public. Next D needs a rallies, I guess

Have you seen that NYT article going around today asking people why they voted for Trump? Actions don't speak for themselves anymore, if they ever did. People don't know what's going on if you don't spell it out.

😂😂😂 As if the incoming guy had any dignity. Remember free speech? Biden can boast of outstanding achievements. MAGA will come to discover and regret, only a matter of time.

Biden points to Trump’s vanity & propaganda spiel of delaying much needed checks due to wanting them signed, a fact, while Trump just insulted our neighboring country Canada as the 51st US state. There can be no comparison of those statements or those two as regards offensiveness.

I think it would be a nice change if Biden shuts the old pie hole. Who cares what he learned now, since it will have no bearing on anything. He should have put his learnings to good use in the election not ramble nonsense after the fact.

He should have called the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the President Biden Infrastructure Law. The Inflation Reform Act should have been the Democratic Inflation Reduction Act. We never put our names on anything. We need to take ALL the credit!
