Neguse demolishes Arrington's hypocrisy: "When the stock market dropped 1k points years ago, you rushed to bemoan Biden's actions. You condemned it. Now the market drops 1k points every day for the last week and you claim it's the economy running well. Do you understand why that's a tough argument?"

Ok, so it will be good for the next generation. Not exactly the day 1 fix that was promised. How anyone could buy that is beyond me, but that is another discussion.

Wow thinking about the next generation of down below the gutter Because having a rampant measles outbreak in Texas is a good start for the next generation in hope & disarray & double inflation Come to Hope & disarray religion classes in how prayer saves your mind from insane beginnings & endings

Oh yeah, he understands. It's because it's a specious argument and entirely disingenuous. Just because he lies about the state of the economy doesn't make it good... Fucking dweeb.

One man’s ego shouldn’t hold the global economy hostage. This isn’t strategy—it’s sabotage. From threats to tariffs to market crashes, we’re watching reckless power unravel lives. This isn’t leadership. It’s abuse—economic and ethical.

Arrington's unfinished end comment : Why my constituents in West Texas are too busy being sick and dying with measles and dealing with teenager daughters pregnant with their rapists' baby to worry about anything as remote to their concerns as the Dow

“Next generation”- too bad they didn’t vote for the party that believed in their children’s education or healthcare or nutrition or drinking water Good luck - you think this generation has it tough? Wait until their children are so out educated by other countries they will be useless

Somebody needs to do quick poll of West Texans. I'm sure the oil workers in the Permian Basin are tickled pink over the price of oil declining below affordable extraction levels. The only West Texans who will agree are the 30% whose economy runs on liberal tears

West Texans thinking about the next generation. *Falls off chair laughing and chocking * Whose generation? The one that survive not being vaccinated for diseases we have vaccines for or the ones that survive the collapse of the ecosystem? Goons.

I know how this story ends as we heard exactly these excuses and justifications from the Brexit promoters. They will continue to proclaim everything will be great sometime in the future while everything goes to shit. You’ll hear this lie repeatedly as the economy slowly and inexorably declines.

When you do it it’s bad, when I do it it’s part of some 4d chess move that nobody understands but it’s really I am both a bully and a coward at the same time…how pathetic are these people. They know. They are purposely lying…

I’m willing to bet that those West Texans are thinking about the ever- rising price of GROCERIES (that beautiful word that no one uses - paraphrasing Trump) more than the financial solvency of future generations.

Arrington could have cut to the chase and just said, "Well, Trump wants to undo all the liberal social policies of the last 75 years, so I'm sticking with him no matter what he does to the economy." Would have saved time.

Maga has been saying and continues to say that they’re pretty much writing off this generation and things will be better for the next generation. They’re completely delusional.

Yes they're thinking about the next generation that's why they voted for a man who said on day one he would help them out with grocery prices, taxes breaks etc. 🙄

If Trump really is following some master plan by pursuing his tariff war that causes the value of stocks to plummet then soar, then he is obviously manipulating the markets. If not, he's being massively foolish and massively reckless. Can't have it both ways.

"I can explain it to you: I'll gargle Trump's balls no matter what, because even if my brain tells me that this is a disaster, I'm drinking the kool-aid and still petrified of his cult."

Here's the funny thing about what said at the end of this clip. I am 58 & I have been hearing this "We have to make it better for our children & our children's children" line most of my life and the funny thing is? It never happens. Any gain we get in that direction gets wiped out by these assbags.

and mr arrington, why did Biden have inflation.. COVID .. why is that NOT SAID every single time these dumb f'cks talk about Biden's economy when he first took office??

Why waste precious time talking to this fool. Or any of them? The evidence is clear. America must do all they can to rid the criminals squatting in the White House.

If elected Dems don’t IMMEDIATELY come out SWINGING calling this “pause” proof that trump has NO idea what he’s doing & he PANICKED bc we were headed to RECESSION, then they’re as spineless as the R’s & as useless as the media!!! If D’s allow R’s to frame this as a “win for trump”, shame on them!!!

Here's what I wanna hear *someone*, ANYONE say: 'You stupid motherfuckers!' And by that, I mean someone in an elected seat!!! Holy crap. The indignation is NOT strong enough! Get Samuel L. Jackson to deliver these speeches for fuck's sake!

@joeneguse.bsky.social is consistently very good at this. I would LOVE someone to respond to the “Biden’s failed fiscal policies caused inflation” line (which the whole GOP uses) with some version of “Can we we grownups? There was a global pandemic. The US recovered better than any other country.”

Democrats don't have to keep accepting GOP framing for fear of insulting idiots who believe it. In fact, they might pull more support if they start dismissing it as dumb propaganda. "The economy was doing well. We were a billionaire tax away from a truly great country." bsky.app/profile/rude...

Eight months ago, the US economy was the envy of the world. “The patient is recovering” was literally 2022-23 as our economy got back to some kind of normal after a global pandemic—and based on the rest of the world, we did it really well. But, to idiots, egg prices were a national emergency.
