of all the things I am not going to buy, this is the thing I am not going to buy the most

Design is obviously not meta’s forte. The US army, in the 80’s, called the military issue glasses, that looked exactly like those, “rape prevention glasses”. I don’t recall that being in print anywhere, but everyone in the military knew them and often referred to them as that.

Remember that episode of Ghost in the Shell:SAC where one of the main characters was looking at photos that showed a victims wife in bed, but there was no camera? Apparently, this is Zuckabergs wet dream. Not touching this shit.

When I think about the vast number of end-timers who were happy to scare young Christian kids like me with “a Thief in the night” who will now line up and pay money they don’t have to put these damn things on their FOREHEADS… I just can’t.

Mark is just smokin meats & surfboarding guys! Have you not seen the gold chain? I feel like people are not seeing the gold chain and therefore, it’s not doing what it should. Mark can’t steal all your data & constantly monitor us all with his douche glasses if you guys aren’t getting the chain

Years after it goes on sale, it will be learned that Meta glasses have a secret code built in where all text is blurry if you try to read something that isn't posted on Facebook. We know how this is going to go.

Suckerburg? Glasses? Hasn’t that been done before? In the background is there a vision of his dear leader? 29’ Newsom raises the tech bros and hoes taxes through the roof The DOJ will break up tech firms and media companies that joined the cult

It's a challenge with how much electronics you have to fit in there. There was reporting in the past that Essilor Luxotica didn't want to do these because they had to be more chunky than the versions without the display and apps.

The scariest part of this technology is that he seems to wind up owning whatever you see and hear with what he considers his stuff. That’s what money buys you in this kakistocracy — absolute ownership of everything.

Americans, they are bleeding you dry on your rights and expecting you to spend your money on their BS! #DONTFnDOIT! Social propaganda aka media is a cancer and we know who is spreading it for money! Our information may not be ours anymore, but you do control what you buy!

I was an original Google Glass wearer and I am keenly interested in where this tech is going, but not with Meta. I'll wait for something like Project Aurora from XREAL, who makes my One Pro AR glasses that I am wearing right now.

hahahahaha I'm broke old man .. My budget doesn't allow for paid subscriptions or desire driven buying... I'm in a state of Permanent Boycott.. I don't have a TV ( for near 30 years) ... my luxury is internet access... Entertainment: If it ain't free... its not for me... Minimalism beats capitalism

Yeah, Google Glass was a much more primitive version of this way back. These probably have a better chance of catching on with how there's more functionality, a way better display, they're less noticeable etc.

in 10 years when they will cost about $50 most people will. I love my viture pro glasses because late at night I can watch tv, movies in bed and not disturb anyone. if you have to wear glasses getting smart glasses isn't a bad option. you won't need earphones anymore.

It's just that they're also suggesting these will in the future constantly record everything you see and hear and take notes. Step further from the amount of surveillance our devices already do. They don't have the battery life for that yet though.

All the billions of dollars he has, can’t buy him charisma, uniqueness, nerve, or talent. Mark is not likable or interesting. I feel second-hand embarrassment. He didn’t care enough to sort out bugs before the unveiling? 🤨🙄

The thing is...even when the glasses were working at the demo, the two guys in glasses were standing on stage interacting in a weird stilted manner like chuds at their first high school party. There was nothing useful or interesting that came out of wearing the device.
