Pete Hegseth struggles to bench press one plate

Tbh it looks like he did 40+reps at 135 lbs although the guy next to him is crushing it. Seems weird they’d be pressing at 135 lbs for reps…might as well just do push ups-which would come out to similar weight lifted..not sure what this demonstrates..

135 pounds? I'd certainly understand if he fired or demoted whoever revealed his PROFOUND upper body weakness. It wouldn't be right. But I'd understand it.

I mean, I wouldn't be able to budget that bar, but I've never described .myself as anything but a caring and experienced social worker who is built like Frosty the Snowman...

How much weight is on those bars? They are working awful fast for it too be much weight? As for Pete, let's see him do the entire exercise required for every soldier to make sure he fits his own requirements.

Hegseth has a lot of faults but struggling to get a 45th rep isn't one he should be called out for. Everyone who's ever done bench in their lives has done this. Everyone.

I can’t stand the dude, but in fairness, we have no idea whether that was the end of a long burn out set. There might have been 40 reps before then. But yeah, that looked kinda sad. That said, keep on fighting the good fight. You are one of my fav creators.

Hegseth is as corrupt, incompetent, and diabolically bigoted as he is underwhelming as a man. The Trumpians are losing, but to fully take them down we must take action! June 14th 2026 is a national day of protest. Join your voice with ours for democracy. The people have the power!

In this clip, in could be just that he did like 15 reps and pushed to failure. BUT...everything is wrong: His feet should be planted on the ground, the bar is horribly uneven, he bounced the bar off his chest, and arched his back without his feet on the ground. I hope he pulled something.

This mofo would have never lasted in ancient Sparta. "Warrior ethos" my ass. And the irony is watching him being bailed by a black brother, as he is about to crush his own throat with some weak weights. BTW, during my time in the Marines there were women I knew that were doing close to 200 ... easy.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤡😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Dude, I could push that and I'm hella out of shape lol what a perfect example of these "masculine" strong man types. I just know those Marines were roasting his ass back at the bricks

One would hope that the Secretary of Defense of the most globally dispersed and capable military force would have better things to do....for instance, developing policies, procedures & strategies to advance US global interests?

Oh @atrupar.com I feel bad you fell for this blatant lie. I did too until I read the replies: bsky.app/profile/mari...

Do not do this, "FactPost" I am assuming the following video is genuine and the form is obviously poor and I fucking hate that guy but deceitful editing is loser shit www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbKT...

I hate Kegseth, but that's not true. Bench press is a full body exercise and does activate your leg muscles when done properly Of course, he wasn't doing them properly either tho lol... Anyways, fuck Hegseth, he's a weak ass bitch, but the lifting fact might be interesting to you

Even shithoused I can rep 60kg for days, and I'm fairly average with weird proportions that do not equate to an elite level of benching power He has no excuse, being ex-military, so just goes to show how much of a fraud he is.. no way he passed fitness

A 12yo boy is a significant outlier if they can bench 135lbs, so you're fine using the same age for maturity and strength here. Ofc Whiskey Pete's form is so terrible I don't think we've seen a single bench press rep from him yet.

Oh!!!!! I wish my dad was still alive. He was a competitive powerlifter that trained till the day he died. If he was still alive, he would have laughed himself to death watching this-- 😂

what happened to his fitness? "Footage circulated of Hegseth successfully bench-pressing 315 pounds, with his 15-year-old son spotting him. The lifting attempt went viral as a macho show of strength, which ultimately sparked debate across platforms"...

one plate on each side is 90lbs. I could bench press 150lbs when i was 16 and weighed 139lbs. He should start hanging out with the Village People and become a true macho man
